The Star Wars saga reset in a Steampunk / Diesel Punk universe. I'm actually planning this, by the way, so no stealing.

Ben 10 X with whatever anime characters
It works for me :). When I feel down, or I feel that a story opportunity comes up.
Which there is a twist to it. The anime characters are brought in to today's world. Wearing modern clothes.
Sanosuke Sagara - Would be a dude in his late 20s - Wearing a hoodie - Wearing a black tanktop - army camoflauge pants - black sneakers
business wear - would wear a business suit - necktie - black pants etc...
The Zombie Apocalypse comes to McKinley High.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyNot a writer, but...
A Bleach comedy with Grimmjow and Yachiru as an Odd Couple, kicked off by Yachiru getting her head stuck in Grimmjow's hollow hole.
My fanfic efforts are irregular at best- I've got one and a half fics up on ff.net, but one idea (plotbunny?) that simply won't leave my head is a simple premise that promises ludicrous complications; Harry Dresden gets clunked on the head, and wakes up in the eleven-year-old body of Harry Potter, aboard the Hogwarts express for the first time.
Why is this sticking so persistently? Well... two simple reasons. One, First-Person Smartass is an entertaining voice to write in, and second, Harry (Dresden) has read the books. He knows about the Potter-verse, and has at least a working understanding of the overarching plot. Just how far and how fast (and how violently) things would go off the rails with Dresden applying his usual brand of Genre Savvy to a plot that basically revolves around him (and where he's read the ending) would get... interesting... in a hurry, heh.
(for those wondering, Storm Front came out before the first Harry Potter movie, thus Harry Dresden has to have read at least some of the books to know about Harry Potter, whom he references in Storm Front- "Yes, I'm really a wizard named Harry."- and he flat out says he's seen the movies in Side Jobs- the story where he was trying to get a day off).
Regarding the idea of God as a child, there exists a sci-fi story like that, written as an evaluation of his science project which he worked on over 6 days before resting. He got a C++.
As for my own crazy fanfic ideas, I had one where Harry Potter's power which was destined to let him kill Voldemort was being a psychopath. Basically, early abuse snaps his mind. The Durseleys have horrible "accidents". And once he gets magic, it all gets worse. Then, of course, they expanded Voldemort's backstory as Riddle and that's essentially who he was. Well, that and Harry Potter: Hooligan covered a lot of the same ground.
Another involved writing a Ranma 1/2 story where an early experience fighting a girl and losing resulted in him treating female competition as seriously as the males (as well as him showing up a year or two late compared to canon because his lack of disdain for Shampoo led her to take him much more seriously, resulting in a narrow win for her and him being enslaved by the Amazons for a time). Never got past the first chapter on that one.
So would I. Fanfics are my favourite way to get information about shows I haven't seen and books I haven't read. I adore Stargate SG 1 crossovers especially; it's so fun to see what outsiders make of stuff I'm familiar with (Sparkgate: Agatha Heterodyne And The Grasp Of The Serpent God is particularly delish).

A True Lady's Quest - A Jojo is You!During the Battle of Serenity Valley, a Rok slams into the planet.
And suddenly the Browncoats and the Alliance are up to their necks in Goddamn Orks.
Selective gender bent retelling of Black Lagoon.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Magical Girl Mega Crossover, wherein all of said magical girls are actually guys from different worlds. It's...already in progress, actually. I call it The Roulettes.
A erotic fic for the Metaphorsis of Intellect Prime, which, I am posting in this thread, because it would be ultimately wish fullfilment and fetish fuel :p
The idea is a *challenge* where the person has to cross several fetish themed worlds.

"Here to welcome our new golden-eyed overlords," said Addy promptly. That actually doesn't sound terrible. (The Bureau has an obvious need for somebody like Jason Bourne if nothing else.)
Nous restons ici.Today's random crossover suggestion: My Little Pony FIM and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.
Alpha Protocol, Just Cause, and Hitman. Namely, 47 is reduced to having to work with The Agency, of which Thorton and Rico are currently employed. They go on adventures and kill stuff.
Show some love.Mega Crossover fic that has Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon in a Cuban Missile Crisis-esque standoff over the contract of Finn, Jake, and the AT cast whose contract with CN expires in the next 14 days.

"USE YOUR WORDS NOT THE FABRIC OF THE UNIVERSE" ''memyselfand I 2"The plot of Rocky Horror Picture Show with the characters of Yugioh The Abridged Series and Pokemon, written in the style of The Room. The sequel can be a whole plot reference to Pink Flamingos.
And Kaiba can be Janet, Bandit Keith can be Brad, and Pegasus can be Frank.
Wow, even I think that's terrible.

A Doctor Who/Phineas And Ferb crossover fic. It first came into my head just because I like both shows, but the more I thought about it the more I thought there could actually be some serious potential in the concept. I particularly like the idea of making it a bit of a Deconstructive Parody, with The Doctor realizing that all the implausible things that happen in Phineas And Ferb are actually the result of something science-fictiony, like an alien race or a pocket dimension or some timey-wimey stuff.
Further detail here.

Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember them, you are not alone.
Haruhi Suzumiya + The Dresden Files
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.
