-Is still asleep. But is feeling some sort of combination of the satisfication with how Valentines day turned out for pretty much everyone and a little bit of fear for Sinnoh-

Silent has woken up early to answer a call from Casval, who is trying to get off the region amidst the reorganizational chaos. Since Silent doesn't have anything else to do, he offers the two a blimp Zeppelin ride to [REDACTED] or Johto, depending on what the plot and the schedule of the day demand.

Silent is now waiting in Slateport Airport for Casval to arrive, which should take about an hour.

[AU] Sinnoh Cubone Tribe, yesterday

Vinollo and his Gracidea absolutely do NOT follow Hydreigon Marrow in a walk towards the space tunnels that will absolutely NOT take the Nidorino back to Goldenrod.

In the meanwhile, Vinollo, as a good ambadassador to the Johto Nidorans, absolutely DOES NOT try to be a good guest and share some items of Johto lore, such as the Nidos's original tale of the three Gerbils Eevees random Pokémon who died in the Twin Towers Fire, the [corrected] version of the story by Luke©, the story of the people in black attire who cut Slowpoke tails for coins, the day Johto's haxest Dragonite was felled in egregious combat, and how the same Pokémon who felled him later went on to battle some giant dragons during the Unova invasion.

Slateport Airport, Today

Silent is boarding a PEFE Zeppelin for a quick, time-compressed trip to PEFE HQ with a possible stop to accommodate Casval and Artesia. For a completely random in-universe reason unknown to Silent, Tracer is on the zeppelin as well, accompanied by Zoltan and Audrey. While Silent greets Tracer, the two Pokémon are arguing something about videogames, with Audrey trying to explain, in vain, why Zoltan is not supposed to bite a PSP to try and operate the buttons.

Zeppelin Operator -peeks in: "We are about to depart. Any particular destinations?"

Ichtacya: <...Home?> — the operator awwws, she only gets a purrwoof anyway.

Tracer: "PEFE HQ."

Silent: "Yeah... we need to have a talk to those lawyers..."

Casval -thinks about it briefly: "Uhm... let's see... probably [undisclosed location]..."

Artesia -crosses her arms: "Wherever he goes."

Fortree Jail

A certain Foreign Salamence is sleeping. Though in between snoreroars, he pays ear to some other immates commenting something about the "J-Team" leaving...

Grins in his sleep.

Silent is checking his mail and messaging while talking to Tracer about the recent events and the    souls    issue. Next to them on the ground, Audrey is taking a look at the old devices Silent has in his suitcase, with Dintel looking around as well.

Silent: "...And this one is apparently the conflicting section."

Tracer -squints at screen: "...What heck of typography is that? Comic Sans 4pt?"

Audrey -suddenly picks what appears to be a carcass: <...Whoa. This thing is really heavy.> — looks at it from all angles.

Silent: "I don't know... I'd rather not even try testing it." — shrugs, points to another section of the contract — "See, Legalese is not my area and I could easily screw something up..."

Dintel: <That can has been there for yeeeeeeears! Maekrite says it was there before him.>

Audrey: <...Really? Then it probably- eeeee! I can't believe this!> — shows the device to Dintel, who simply tilts his head — <It is an actual Game&Watch DS!> — starts poking and inspecting it.

Tracer -compares notes with some on-paper documents : "Hopefully this does not detract from our operations. I mean, some PEFE articles have been delayed for quite a bit..."

Silent: "Perhaps it already has, you know..." — sees Tracer look and frown — "See, I've got no news from my interns ever since before the Caldera."

Tracer: "Really? Oh... wait, you left Shahinne in charge of them."

Audry is grumbling while trying to activate the old handheld; though having an unexpected problem.

Audrey: <Darn thing, the button is- oh, wait!>

Dintel -peeks in to look: <Should you be doing that? It's going to break...>

Audrey: <Don't worry, it'll outlast me...> — starts trying to bite to slide her fang into the borked power-on — <Urgh... these humans didn't have Pokémon in consideration when designing these old games, it seems...> — resorts to trying with her hand spike.

Silent shrugs, turns to Tracer.

Silent: "Shahinne'll be fine. She has a family."

Tracer: "If you say so. Hey, wait what is that?"

Silent: "Oh that?" laughs briefly — "The log of a conversation I had with Wallace..."

Silent remembers a particular conversation he had yesterday offscreen.

Slateport Hotel, Yesterday

While Helios entertains himself by trying to fit into the jar to capture the latest possible little bit of honey remaining inside, Silent is checking his mail and messaging to find a couple of notices from Wallace. The two then cybertalk for a while.

Meanwhile, Helios, already convinced that he definitively is not fit for a 1 litre bottle, falls back to using his tongue to sip some of the honey still on the walls of the jar.

Lucario: <We get that a lot. Say, have you seen any morally ambiguous Mew lately?>

Riley: *enters the cave, along with Lucario*
