"Kinda, yes, his name is Blake, but he doesn't talk at all and also took a liking for me, he just mimics whatever I do." explained Duke.
"<Well, what happened was that Gex and Zap pulled a prank on Lyuri, and I playfully said that she was going to kill them for it and that they should hide, Gex however took it too literally and tried to hide himself, in a ship, we tried to give him chase, but as soon as we got in the ship sailed. We arrived in Castelia, but everybody got lost in there and eventually I was left alone, I went to the Desert Resort and the rest I think both of you know.>" explained Riku, looking a bit down.
"Riku was the first one we found, and we separated ourselves from Sakura not too long ago, she managed to find Pyry, now we just need to find Gex, Zap and Jordan." completed Lyuri
"<Oh, Pyry was found? Great!>" said Riku, cheering up a bit.
"It's been quite stressful to look for them, they could be anywhere in Unova and also moving around frequently, Lyuri kept looking for them in Castelia for about three days straight, the only thing that took her mind off it was... The fact that she ended up developing a crush on me." said Duke, blushing a liiittle bit.
"Yeah, instead of being stressed out by having my team spread out, I got nervous wondering if Duke would accept being my boyfriend or not, things are working out fine, at least between us." said Lyuri.
Lake: <Wha...Wait, what?! You lost some of your Pokémon?!>
Stratus: <That's terrible! It's like that one time with Riku all over again! Uh...>
He glanced down at Riku, grinning awkwardly.

Lake: <Smooth, Dad. Well, if you need help finding them, we're gonna' be staying in Unova for a while. Me and the rest of my team can keep an eye out for them.>
Stratus: <Yeah! We wouldn't want any of them getting into any trouble like what happened with Riku in the desert! Uh...again, no offence...>

"<Going from that landing I'm guessing you two are either in a hurry or somebody is just bad at landing.>" said Zack, with a sly smile.

Lake: <We haven't been up to that much to be honest. We've spent the past few months just chilling at the PEFE. That's all, really.>
Stratus: <Apart from when the power went out for what seemed like an eternity. That was a nightmare! We got stuck at home and had to ration the food in the fridge! I only got to eat THREE MEALS A DAY.>
He shook his head in disbelief.

"<Yeah, it didn't, but we escaped alive at least.>" said Riku
"By the way, it's getting late isn't it? I suppose we should go sleep now, we can talk more tomorrow." said Duke, now being the one to give a yawn.
"<Whatever, I'm going to look for somewhere to sleep then.>" said Zack, walking away without further formalities.
"<Yeah, good night, Lake and Stratus!>" said Riku
Lyuri, Duke and Riku then wave at the duo before walking back to the Pokémon Center.
Likewise, the two Pokémon say their goodbyes and decide to head elsewhere for the time being.
Lake: <...Well.>
Stratus: <Looks like we missed some important stuff.>
Lake: <You think?>
Stratus: <Yeah, smart mouth.>
Lake: <Heh. Sorry, but you do leave yourself open a lot.>
Stratus: <Hmm. Shame that all those Pokémon are lost, though. Do you think we'll be able to find them?>

Lake: <Sure we will! We're good at finding things, and I bet the others will help!>

| Unable to find Zeta before night sets in, Ao heads to the Center, and nestles up under the eaves.
Above Driftveil City
| Zeta has once more returned to the sky, on Cetus's back. She enjoys it being nearly alone, far and away from the city below. It feels close to her home, the deserts of Orre; there is a similar feeling of wild nature, untamed and proud, fiercely defiant of the modern city below.
| Unable to sleep, Zeta decides to meditate, and try to visit the Land of the People again.
| She calmly sits, closes her eyes, and empties her thoughts.
| She slips away, into the shadows at the edges of the world.
The Land of the People
| Opening her eyes, Zeta is greeted by the now familiar sight of the ruins, the seal, and the floating objects.
| This visit is the one she's been dreading.
| She must either head North or West, into the harsher quadrants.
| She deliberates on which to choose for what feels like hours.
| At last, she has decided.
| She will go West, as though it may drag at her mind worryingly, it still felt the better option than the cold, dark land to the North.
Western Desert
| The path is difficult to follow, constantly shifting. It turns at random in front of her and behind her changing from one minute to the next. Now it is asphalt, then hard packed dirt, then cobblestones, then a barely discernible line in the sand. Still, she is somehow able to follow it. Zeta is glad of this; she has an uneasy feeling that stepping off the path here may be fatal.
| The sands around her shift and change as well, forming vibrant colors and fascinating pictures. Most are mere geometric shapes or scribblings, but a few form recognizable images. They involve people she knows, and herself. Some of them she recognizes as the past, events that she remembers happening. Others are unfamiliar to her.
| She ignores them and walks on. She has a similar feeling about pausing too long to watch the sands as she did about stepping off the path.
| Finally, at last, she reaches what appears to be the end of the road.
| It is a building, but of what sort is indeterminable, as it also is constantly changing form. The only consistent thing about it is the front door. In this chaotic land of flashing color and changing shapes, it alone remains steady, solid. It is a large, heavy, stone door, made of what appears to be obsidian.
| She pulls it open. It is much lighter than it looks.
| She enters the building.
| And, following a now familiar pattern, she encounters a person that might be her, but isn't.
Zeta?: Ah hahaha! So you've made it~!
| It's voice has a singsong quality to it. It is both immensely soothing and horrifyingly grating at the same time.
Zeta: Indeed. And this place is?
Zeta?: Oh, it's had many names~! More than I can count~!
Zeta: It sounds likely. Still, what is its current name.
Zeta?: At this time, in this age, it is known as the Desert of Madness.
Zeta: It fits.
Zeta?: I know, right~?
Zeta: And your name?
Zeta?: Hasn't anyone ever told you that names have power~? Why should I give my name to you~?
Zeta: For your sisters did.
Zeta?: That is a fair enough point~, but I am still unable to~.
Zeta: Why not?
Zeta?: Because, I have had more names than this place has~. I have had more names than are possible, or even impossible~.
Zeta: Even so, what is the name you use now?
Zeta?: Ah, you are a clever one, you are~. I think I'm going to like you~!

Zeta?: A bit pushy for my tastes, though~. We'll have to work on that~.

Zeta?: Fine, fine~. I go by the name of Mania, Maniae if I'm feeling a bit plural~.
Zeta: Alright, Mania, you seem to be the most informative of your sisters that I've found yet, if in a roundabout manner.

Unite: <You great big pair of dipsticks! How are we supposed to find these Pokémon if we don't even know which ones we're looking for?>
Embarrassed, Stratus hung his head in shame as Lake facepalmed.
