The letter reads:

That was a great battle we had the other day. I've been watching your progress for quite some time now, and I've decided to give you the Pokemon inside this Poke Ball. Take good care of it.

Let's see what's inside.

-I throw the Poke Ball, and a Beldum comes out-

A Beldum? This is freaking awesome. I'll call you Cobalt. Any problems with that?

Cobalt: -Doesn't answer-

Quiet, aren't you? Well I'm not all that talkative either, so we'll work well together.

-Cobalt and I leave together-

- Lake Verity, a few days after DS defeated the Elite Four. DS is relaxing with her team at the lake, watching Mesprit flying around happily above the lake -

... You know, it's kind of hard to believe everything we've been through this year. I mean, after I became a Pokémon trainer, I beat all the gyms, had encounters with legendary Pokémon, took down Team Galactic, saved the world, beat the Elite Four, let Mesprit lead me on a chase around Sinnoh, caught her and then I let her go.

- My Pokémon look over at me and smile, while I watch Mesprit still playfully flying above the lake -

I don't really understand how I was capable of doing all those things, but... I think it's because you were always with me, supporting me and giving me a reason to keep trying.

- I smile back at my Pokémon -

Thank you, my friends.

- My Pokémon and I share a Group Hug, while Mesprit happily watches us from above the lake -

Tagg's House in Hoenn (To be more exact, someplace he was renting)

-Looking down on Cobalt, who's wearing a muzzle-

Since you nearly ate that metal artwork at the museum, I've had no choice but to use this on you so that you don't eat everything.

Over time, it ate more than it should even be physically capable of eating.

Today, Giratina ate a mattress, a scale wood carving of a Ponyta, and just now ate a fully functioning and turned on Electrical Generator.

Anything else you've tried to feed it?

Cynthia: I gave it a glass of water.

-Three cream coloured horse Pokémon race for their lives through the buring forest, the Legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom too tied up in their battle between Truth and Ideals to pay any mind to the havok they're wrecking.

The smallest one of these horse Pokémon tries to keep up with his parents as best as he can.-

Keldeo: <MOM! DAD! I'M SCARED!>

Keldeo I: <Just keep running son! If we make it out of the forest, we'll all be safe!>

Keldeo: <Are...Are you sure?!>

-One of the other Keldeo turns to look back at their child. This one being a female named Loch.-

Loch: <I promise sweetie, we'll all be fine!>

Keldeo: <...Sniff...Okay!>

-The three keep running, and it looks like they're going to escape until...-

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!

-The legendary Zekrom crashes down in front of them, blocking their escape route!-

Loch: <NO!>

-Almost unfazed, Keldeo I steps forward.-

Keldeo I: <Loch, Keldeo, go! I'll hold him off! Maybe I can stop this pointless fighting too!>

Loch: <NO! You can't, We'll help you fight!>

Keldeo: <Dad! I can help!>

Keldeo I: '''<NO! BOTH OF YOU RUN! GET AWAY FROM HERE!!!>

Loch: <...But->

Keldeo I: <GO!>

-Loch hesitates, but then nudges Keldeo away.- Loch: <You heard your father, we have to go!>

Keldeo: <But we can't leave him!>

Loch: <He'll be fine, I promise! Now we need to go! Now!>

-Loch gallops away. Keldeo takes one last look at his father bravely standing up to Zekrom before reluctantly following.-

Keldeo I: <Too many people and Pokémon have died today Zekrom!>

-Keldeo I slashes the air with his horn.-

Keldeo I: <THIS ENDS NOW!>

I've been here for at least a month since Colbalt entered that semi-Metagross phase.

-At this point, Cobalt comes out of the ground, fully formed-

Reshiram: He's over there. -points to Zekrom who is holding a pop corn bucket-

We're going to go research Pokemon together.

Gaia: <It appears that Tagg can only get excited when there's research to do or a new area to explore.>

Nudi: <I can't wait to explore again too.>

Luxray: <Of course you do Nudi.>

I may not understand what you're saying, but I have a feeling that it's somehow related to me.

Anyway, we're going to go collect information on the Spheal Line.

Well... I'll be going to Unova soon, and I'm feeling nervous because I'm not going to take my team with me. I was hoping you could give some encouraging words and stuff, since coming here usually helps lift my spirits.

Mesprit: I see... While you have grown a lot since I first met you, it seems you still have to deal with your insecurities.

Mesprit, do you think I can truly trust my new friends?

Mesprit: Well, you'll have to try. I know you don't want to let anyone too close to you because you're afraid you might get hurt, but I fear that Unova will be full of challenges you have to face and only by letting go of your fears will you be able to face up to them.

Mesprit: (placing a hand on my cheek) It'll be okay... I promise.

Thank you, Mesprit. I do feel a little better now.

Pepper: ...And then I said "Oatmeal? Are you crazy?!">

I basically just wanted to meet you. It's not everyday that you can talk to the personification of knowledge. How do you know my name?

Uxie: As you said, I am the personification of knowledge. I just ask rhetorical questions so that I don't frighten beings like yourself. You seem to be somewhat similar to a bunch of people spread out throughout the world.

Azelf: <You could say that. All that Zekrom guy kept talking about was some girl named Reshiram.>

Mesprit: <Really?>

Azelf: <Yeah... Those two must really hate eachother. He kept going on about how they never agree on anything and how annoying he thinks she is.>

Mesprit: (giggling) <That doesn't sound like hate to me...>

Azelf: <Well, either way, it was the worst date ever.>

Mesprit: <I'm sorry about that, Azelf.>

Azelf: <It's okay, let's talk about something else. So, did you hear that Deoxys has been searching for Mew because she needs her help to fix someone's DNA?>

Mesprit: <Oh yeah, how is that going?>

Azelf: <I don't know, but I saw Mew the other day, she said she was on her way to some amusement park in Nimbasa city, wherever that is.>

Uxie: Eventually you'll meet some of these people and go on adventures together. To prevent you from trying to find them prematurely, I'm afraid I can't give you any hints. Don't worry Tagg, you'll be able to trust them.

I doubt that. They'll probably just use me for my knowledge like most of everyone else. My condition doesn't particularly help matters either. At least the project gives me some manner of purpose. Thanks for the talk though Uxie, I hope you're right.

Azelf: Oh, it's okay. Team Galactic was a real piece of work, but luckily my sisters and I were saved by a teenaged girl who bravely entered Team Galactic's building in Veilstone city to rescue us. I believe she's a friend of Mesprit.

I've heard of her, though I haven't gotten a name or crossed paths with her yet. I don't even know what she looks like since I was too far away to help on the Spear Pillar. I have been making her journey a little bit easier to my understanding by trouncing those Galactic punks. Thanks Azelf.
