Parisse sighed and hooked a microphone up to Soundwave as he began to sing softly to the little ones, putting them to sleep. Afterwards he felt tired and curled up with the baby Whismur to sleep.

Rascal: *abandons the rest of his cake in favor of going to check on Ichtacya* <Erm...are you alright? Gaea and I didn't hit you too hard...did we?>

Ichtacya: <Ummm...maybe a little.> *nuzzles against him playfully* <But I forgive you for being a pretty Eeveelution. :3>

Rascal: *flushes* <Erm...thank you. ^^;;>

Ichtacya: *paws at his side* <Where is Aqua? :3>

Mandarin S Past

Kaepora: <Thank's Stringybark! Your one in a Million!>

Gaepora: <Indeed he did! However, he left a little early>

Kaebora: <He said something about not leaving a Nido alone to count berry stores. It always ends up mucky...>

Kaepora: <Ah well! At least you got to see him! BTW, I have someone to introduce you too!>

-Kaepora introduces Fool-

-Has fallen asleep leaning against Gallade♀, who is also asleep-

- Is currently asleep, mumbling something about a history test on Wednesday and having to study, for reasons unknown -

"So you're hiding here... Huh?" The man stepped into the cave moments before Soundwave rushed him. "SOUNDWAVE DEPLOYED: OPERATION: INTERFERENCE!" The man was thrown several metres away before he crashed into the ground. "NOONE HARMS PARESSE UMBRAL ERUPTUS AND GETS AWAY WITH IT!! GO! ARCEE!" The Pokemon moved fast and hit hard. Soundwave couldn't get a lock on the thing. "Now finish this!" It proceeded to blast Soundwave with a wall of sound that shook and destroyed his body from within. The Exploud couldn't utter a sound as blood spurted from his holes and he dropped to the ground, barely functioning. "Wait.. I still function.." He said, dropping the monotone as Paresse stepped over. "Wanna bet?" He crushed the throat device under his heel and returned his Pokemon. "If you live try and kill me another day.." Paresse said with a laugh as he walked off. Soundwave was keeping himself awake as he lay there, Parisse still asleep.

Dewford Town

May and Felix exited the Gym, the former observing her new Gym Badge while the latter watched Claudia begin floating around in the air.

Claudia: *yawns, turning into her Rainy Form* <Feels like rain is coming. Sleepy...>

As if the Castform's burbling awakened her from some sort of trance, May blinked, a familiar scent wafting over to her. She sniffed, putting her nose to the sky and nodded.

May: Seems that there's going to be some rain here soon. We should probably get out of here before it starts to come down.

Felix nodded, looking over to the dock. Mr. Briney's ship laid in wait, the old man's Wingull keeping lookout for his travelers. Upon noticing the two of them, Peeko warbled happily, roosting on the deck of the ship. The two teens headed over, grateful that their ride was still around.

Felix: So...where to now?

May: Off to Slateport. I think you'll like it there. It's kind of like Rustboro in that it has a lot to do.

Felix: You don't say...

Claudia: *rests on Felix's head, already back in her Normal Form* <Zzz...>

Random Girl: What's that?

Random Guy #2: Yeah, what's up?

Random Guy: I got a message from a friend of a friend's cousin's baby's Pidgey's great uncle's grandfather's Riolu in Rustboro, and he said that there's this funny plant Pokemon and...

Children: *watching the new series of Yes Mon, Petlil, the latest Dewford Trend*

Oddish: *on Television* Petlil, Petlil! We need your help! There's this mean Wartortle picking on us! Can you help us out?

Petlil: *dramatic pause* ... ... ...I will save you, yes. :3

- Starting to wake up, opening my eyes slightly -

May and Felix disembarked at Slateport Beach some time later, bidding a fond farewell to Mr. Briney and his beloved Peeko. Then the two turned to take in the city, Felix marveling at the look of it.

Felix: Wow...a city by the sea! Just like Olivine!

He grinned excitedly, taking a step forward into the sand.

Felix: This is amazing... *turns to May* Are there any gyms here?

May: *smiles* Nope. But there is something else you might be interested in.

Felix: ?

-rubs DS' back- Good morning.

Rusturf Tunnel

Wally:"Ummm...Mr. Daikun, is this really okay?"

"Sure it is. I do it myself every now and then. Plus, we're more likely to meet more wild Pokémon this way."

Wally:"R-Really? Okay, I'll do this! But shouldn't Mr. Narrator stop using that Location Placard, seeing as we're not really in Rusturf Tunnel?"

This is one of my jobs I take seriously, I won't give in to anyone!

"Okay then, we'll compromise."

Casval takes the Placard, scribbles on it, and gives it back.

N's Castle

"There. He can do his job so he's happy, it's not Rusturf Tunnel so you're happy, and it's a place I like so I'm happy."

Wally:(flustered)"But that's not right either!"

Both Casval and the Narrator:"Eh, Whatever."

"I can't believe it. He's in this region, but...Rai-kun, would you be able to look around?"

Sorry, I don't know your brother well enough. I might end up missing him completely.

"Right...Okay, If I'm meant to, I'll meet him. I mean, I'm not gonna give up when I'm this close!"

After a quick stop at the Pokemon Center and a tour of the Oceanic Museum, May and Felix found themselves in front of two buildings, a confused look on the boy's face.

Felix: This is what you want to show me?

His eyes flickered to the orange and blue building on the left, this one shaped like a tent with some kind of strange symbol that looked like three Pokeballs on top. The other was a box shaped building, mostly red with a stone gray roof.

May: I thought the Pokemon you had on you would like to see these places. This *gestures to the left building* is a Battle Tent. And this *gestures to the one on the right* is a Contest Hall.

Felix: Battle Tent? Contest Hall?

May simply grinned, turning to face him.

May: Let me explain. Battle Tents are facilities set up by the Hoenn Battle Frontier as practice dojos for any would be challengers. You have heard of the Battle Frontier, right?

Felix: *nods* We have one in Johto that's shared with Sinnoh.

May: Oh, really? Interesting. Anyway, this building over here is a Contest Hall. It's basically a place where Pokemon perform on-stage for ribbons. It's mainly fun and it's great for Pokemon who don't like to battle.

Felix: Hmm...
