Ack! -recalls Vibra and dives for cover-

Whirl: -takes the hit- <Dark attacks...unwise.> -fires an Aura Sphere at Matchsticks-

-meanwhile, I send out Blobble, who floats over to behind Whirl-

-Matchsticks gets hit, before sending a hug ball of fire down in Whirl's Direction-

<Matchsticks>: <FIRE GOOD! FIRE GOOD!>

Riptide: I HATE YOOOUUU

-Breaks free, grabs MGMT and starts shaking him back and forth-

-Another Pokemon appears behind Every and his mons-

-Clover fires a Charge Beam from the back while Matchsticks attacks with Flamethrower at the front-

Wraith: <Okey-dok!> -blasts Clover with ELDRITCH fire-

-meanwhile, Blobble takes the Flamethrower, ignoring the burn, and fires another Psychic at Matchsticks-

-Clover is burnt, Synchronize comes into play-

<Clover>: <WORM!>

-Clover fires a Shadowball at Wraith while Matchsticks counters Bobble's Psychic with Dark Pulse-

-MGMT continues to taunt Riptide-

-meanwhile, Blobble deflects the Dark Pulse with another Protect, and Whirl slams to the ground near Matchsticks, firing a Stone Edge at the Ninetails-

Whirl: <Why won't you fall?>

Blobble: <I don't think it has enough brains to figure out how.> -fires a Psychic- <Perhaps I can educate it.>

North of Goldenrod, near the time of the Fu-Inlé

-Maekrite is drinking from a secluded creek and eating a narn berry he got from somewhere when his ears pick a strange movement; he looks up and sniffs seeking for an elil, but instead he see three other Nidorino peek above the creek and stare at him; the darkest one jumps down in front of him-

????? Veterano — <Are you the young called Maekrite?>

Maekrite (looks around quizzically) — <...Son of Inka. Yes> — snorts when the mention of Inka doesn't make the others flinch; shows his fangs and horn — <You wouldn't recognize me like this though... Who wants to know?>

???? Milite #1 (moves away without letting Maekrite off his sight) — <You'll see soon enough...>

???? Milite #2 (goes to the other side of the creek) — <Please come with us.>

-Maekrite turns around, then back to the group who are inspecting him moving his ears looking for danger, but only senses himself the center of attention; in fact, if there was any hlessi or predator elil around, it has apparently been forcibly driven away already...-

Maekrite — <If you want to try it...>

-climbs above the creek and is walked by the others to a clean patch of grass, where he is inspected by the others-

????? Veterano — <Strong and willing.> — smiles to him — <Come with us.>

Maekrite (tilts head) — <No can do. I'm waiting for Silent.>

-the Nidorino accompanying the leader mumble something-

????? Veterano — <He can come later, too. We'll send a messenger for him.> — makes a gesture that sends a nearby Hoothoot flying away.

Maekrite (spreading legs and preparing for battle) — <I said I'm waiting for him.>

-The leader Nidorino smiles somewhat sarcastically and raises a paw; at the very motion, two other Nidorino and Nidorina, as well as about ten kits, appear from the shadows behind him and the trees above and stoically stare at him-

????? Veterano — <Look, we're not here to fight you, the kits are proof...> — points horn at a mother Nidorina with her kits — <We're here go where we all belong.>

????? Milite #2 — <Please don't waste our time; Fu-Inlé draws near. We promise Silent will be shortly behind.>

-Maekrite looks around and briefly ponders unleashing an Ice Beam to the leader, but discards the idea and agrees to go, and is driven away by some of the guards; the Milite volunteers to stay waiting for Silent instead, to which the leader agrees-

-The parents with their kits disappear into the growing shadows, while the Nidorino troop moves to the south...-

Random Cruise Ship, off the coast near Cherrygrove City

-After collecting and checking the contracts (frowning at the "clown"'s "X"), the Manager explains that they'll have to start working right away, as there is a Prince of a Random, Non-Canon Region aboard the ship on vacation and His birthday happens to be tonight.-

Manager — That's why you have to start right now. Entertain Prince [REDACTED] while the kitchen staff rushes the birthday cake. If we fail and The Cake Is a Lie, we could face political repercussions!

-Rushes the entertainers out of the door-

Guitarrist — Man, they wouldn't even let me get comfortable with some practice. I hope they have good audio equipment.

Stand-up Comedian — Let's hope this turns OK... Hey, you — to the clown — have I seen you at any party in Ecruteak perhaps?

Clown (nervous) — R..... — shakes head. — "Oh the kitchen... I hope he is OK..." — shrugs.

Stand-up Comedian — Oh well... I could have sworn it was you. There was this clown who would always get the good jobs before I did... — checks some notes — Well, we better get ready...

-The four entertainers are headed to a special suite in the ship's upper decks. As soon as the door opens, the four of them see a salon with many young kids, most of them dressed as pirates, ninjas, zombies and robots and engaging in some fun, completely not harmful activities with makeshift swords and hooks-

"Clown" — .... <Oh! Human pups!> — chuckles — <Wonder if they can teach me any good trick or two?>

Near an Archipelago somewhere

-A Lapras stays in the sea near a cliff, eating some algæ, periodically looking up and shrouding itself in mist to avoid any danger. A couple of minutes later the Lapras hears something pounding on the rock and sees a random Arcanine leap to the water close to him-

???? — <...My darn luck. This place is empty, too!>

Lapras (helping the Arcanine get to its back) — <So, do we go back or you want to inspect the last island?>

???? — <...What the heck.> — smiles and starts licking his fur — <Perhaps there is something, anything, interesting there... I'm not gonna miss the chance!> — paws the Lapras's shell softly — <Let's go! Please!>

-The Lapras drives the Arcanine to the third island-

In a very hidden place near Goldenrod

-Inka walks towards a hidden cave with three Elders and two trusted Nidorina escorts.-

Elder — <Are you sure you want to let it rest here, Inka?>

Inka (breathes hard) — <Yes. I have the feeling that it's gonna be needed again, soon.> — looks at the escorts — <At least here we can ensure only someone of our trust will be able to use its power.>

Elder (calls the escorts, who help Inka lower the Armor to the cave) — <We will help sealing this place and report to you soon.>

-Inka stands there-

Elder — <...Or you can watch, whatever. it's not like you don't know the secret key already.>

-The Elders proceed down the cave with the Armor, secluded by the night-

Messenger Murkrow: <I couldn't tell, boss!>

Oh, of course you couldn't. Best case scenario is that they're captured. Really, it's only a matter of time before he takes the city.

Felis: <Which is exactly what we wanted, is it not?>

Right. It's likely he'll continue on from there. So, I want you to send out a message to every other city. Tell them to prepare for war, and like Nimbasa, defend until the last mon falls. They will not be receiving reinforcements.

Messenger Murkrow: <Yes, boss!> -flies off-

That cat had better be right about this...

At Nimbasa

-Napoleon has pretty much decimated all the opposing forces in Nimbasa-

<Napoleon>: <We have finally captured Nimbasa... I could not be any more pleased with our progression...>

<Fin>: <Napoleon sir...>

-Napoleon turns to Fin-

<Napoleon>: <What is it Fin?>

<Fin>: <It's the death toll of our attacks sir..>

-Fin reads a list-

<Fin>: <We've lost around 1,500 men sir>

-Napoleon scowls-

<Napoleon>: <So what? Why, we can replace them! We Have Reserves! There are plenty of wild Pokemon in the surrounding area that we can recruit! Why, we can stay right here in Nimbasa until we recruit and train double of what we lost if I wish...>

<Napoleon>: <In fact! That's exactly what we'll do! We'll stay here until we recuperated from our losses before taking over any other city in Unova! That way we won't have to worry about major losses elsewhere!>

<Fin>: <If you wish sir... but there is another thing I must bring up..>

<Napoleon>: <And what would that be Fin?>

<Fin>: <It's Die Napoleon sir... We believe he's on his last few breaths...>
