-There is much hustle and bustle as things start coming to a head. At the Church, Lumen is carefully and painstakingly repairing the shattered glass window with the help of the local lightpriest. At the Center, one room set aside for "special preparation" has "Do Not Disturb" sign on it.-

Church of the Radiant Sun

-The usher is motioning for people to take their seats. Meanwhile, two lines of people in matching groomsmen tuxedos and bridesmaid dresses flank the dias.-

-The groomsmen are an assorted bunch. The first is Jacob, obviously, as best man. The rest, however, are more... varied. The first after Jacob is a young man almost Dune's age - he has a deep tan and blue hair. In fact, he kinda looks like he could be Arika's brother, at a glance. The second is an older man of Unovan descent whose bald head is only slightly less obvious than the third eye tattoo on his forehead. The third is a spunky young man whose shaggy hair could be easily mistaken for a dog's pelt, no matter how hard you try to brush it. The fourth is a titan of a man, standing easily heads above most everyone else. His green hair is spiked back behind his neck, and he's reading a book while he waits.-

-The bridesmaids are similarly varied. At the head of the group is obviously Selene as the maid of honor - in her normal pink-haired form, after many many attempts to get it right. The second is a tall, blonde, blue eyes woman with her hair tied up in a tall ponytail. The third is a similarly tall, dour woman with shockingly pink hair similar to Selene, but with a lime green highlight reaching down her bangs. The fourth is a stately woman with blonde hair that practically demands attention be drawn to her, though she's trying to keep her presence in check. She scans the room with steely grey eyes.-

-Dune walks up to his position, his hands fidgeting and continually going to his face to adjust his missing goggles.-

-It's almost time.-

Is in the back with Tagg. His tux fits tightly on him, having a bit more mass then Ren. Adjusting his collar, he appears to be in the absolute epitome of discomfort.

Slyly, he takes a flask out and takes a swig before offering it to Tagg.

"I find weddin's to be sappy affairs."

He lifts the flask back up to his lips, then thinks better of it and puts it away.

He quietly whispers to Tagg.

"You noticed the Velvet Crew to. Did they invite everybody?"

-Joseph is sitting near the rest of the people. He already has a small packet of Kleenex-

I always cry at weddings. ;~;

-Des has a crazed Seamstress descend on him.-

Keys: -to Des- <I recommend not moving unless want to you become part of the furniture.>

-in a flurry of movement and silk, Des's tux is dried, refurbished and refitted.-

-Seamstress moves back to her seat humming.-

-Jacob adjusts his arms and rolls his shoulders, the suit feeling natural to him but the assembly of people and his relative "up-in-the-frontness" feeling alien-

-Margaret is here towards the back, smiling small grin-

-Jason is also in the back. He does have booze-

-Discreetely disguised as a water bottle-

-Yep-

Jason:Ah, nothing like a good wedding after an epic showdown.

-Beat-

Gotta wonder if that'll be a J-Team wedding theme.

-Tori most likely might be with the Heidens-

-And a smol sleepy Daru girl who wishes she was a flower girl-

-Maybe at a different wedding-

-The clocks hit the top of the hour, and the organ starts playing. Dune goes stock upright, his stomach filled with more feelings than he cared to try and sort.-

-The doors open, and Deziree, along with her escort, begin their procession up the aisle.-

-Dune has to focus on not letting his jaw drop at the sight of Deziree in her wedding dress. The bridesmaids have to focus on lot letting their jaws drop at the sight of her escort.-

-Obviously in his later years, the man stands a solid six foot two, his body rippling with old, well toned muscle under his impossibly sharp tuxedo. His immaculately manicured beard and moustache are a brilliant silver to go along with his perfectly combed, thick head of silver hair.-

Duniree Wedding

(Alex is sitting somewhere near the front in his usual garb, hands clasped tightly to his knees. A dispassionate-looking Svavel sits beside him.)

(Belinda, as it happens, has come over too. Wherever Jason is, she's occupied the space beside him, wearing the formal dress he got her for her birthday.)

The last one I went to was a Cubone tribe wedding. Once the reception starts I'm heading back to Sinnoh to see if we can rescue Lucius and Alice before it's over.
