Denise narrows her snout, picks Lillith up, and tosses her on to Denise's back."<Have fun.>"

Marie grinned at the nommers."So I suppose you liked it." Ray was ravenously digging into a steak, while Locke had ribs and a burger on the plate. Ray moaned,"This makes my heart melt".

Kahina, David and Shaka are in the break room. All talking over a bowl of soup an herbal tea.

Kahina: <So you just found him.... wandering in the middle of the forest?>

Shaka: <Yeh. He was meanderin' through the woods, talkin' nonsense and attackin' the trees that he was convince had the hit on him.>

Shaka takes a sip.

Shaka: <Though the fact that he was covered in blood and his clothes were completely tattered makes me question what the flying fuck he was doin' that day...>

David sighs.

David: <A number of things are a possibility, my son. Though I would barter that the most likely possibility for turning up in the woods like that would be another confrontation with Solana's partner...>

David takes a sip of his tea.

Kahina: <The problem is that during these manic episodes it becomes a lot less easy to keep the more Id like behavior tethered. He becomes too wild, too brash, too boisterous..>

David: <It is tiring to old fossils like us.>

Shaka: <I've essentially become his caretaker while on the field.>

David: <Let's be honest here Shaka. Without us, he wouldn't know how to take care of himself.>

There is another collective sigh.

Kahina: <We should head back to the room...>

David: <Indeed...>

Shaka: <We can't count on him sleeping for a long period. Heightened brain activity is a bitch.>

The Shaka and Kahina clean up the dishes, while David grabs the concrete pillars leaning against the wall ever so slowly. After they're done, they start walking back to the grunt quarters.

Denise then starts prancing around, chuckling.

Marie bows."Why thank you very much!" Ray hugs her tightly, and Marie doesn't object this time, beaming during the hug, and then flicks her fingers."Wait." She then pulls out some steaming mashed potatoes, at which Ray blushes."I think you should all have some of Ray's cooking too." She sets the mashed taters on the table.

-Jason finishes his meal.-

Jason:Heh...least the guy knows he has a lot of people who care and worry about him, eh?

-He takes some potatoes.-

Ho-ly hell...Ray, these are amazing!

-Lillith hangs on tight.-

The thing about Lucius is that sometimes he's convinced that he's terrible and that everyone hates him.
