Do we fight game-wise, or anime-wise? By which I mean standard turn by turn fight, or are we allowed to make improv moves?

MHM: Usually game rules such as the four-move limit apply during organised or league-sanctioned battles. During "fight for your life" kind of situations, no such limitations apply.

Locke observed."Volcarona's going to be much faster now because of the Quiver Dance, physical attack is a no-go right now. So...Axel, Stone Edge!"

Sharp rocks formed in a ring around Axel, who then said:"<Machine gun..FIRE!>"

All of the rocks shoot forward as if they were bullets, all aimed at Volcarona from all directions.

Lyuri was having a nightmare of which she soon woke up and instinctively getting up, remaining sitting on her bed and looking about to cry. She then looks at Duke peacefully sleeping right next to her and that's when she finally let the tears stream down, she briefly considers waking him up, but decides against it as she didn't want to burden him with another one of her problems. Instead she just gets up from bed and heads out of the room, still crying and clearly not looking well-rested at all.

Sylva might notice Ryu and Teishi training, said training consisting of who manages to hit the other with a Water Shuriken first.

-Herbert is awake and sitting on the end of his bed, talking to Kirk, Maul and Bishop.-

Herbert: ...So that's what I've been up to over these last few months.

Kirk: <Wow, that's... I didn't know you'd been...>

-He bows his head.-

Kirk: <If I'd known about everything you'd had to go through, I wouldn't have left... maybe I could've protected you somehow...>

Herbert: Don't beat yourself up about it, Kirk. I had Bishop to look out for me. Besides, it wasn't all doom and gl-

-He pauses upon hearing Lyuri outside.-

Herbert: Wait a sec... you guys can hear someone crying too, right?

Kirk: <...Yeah.>

Bishop: <I believe so.>

Maul: ~No.~

-Herbert rolls his eyes at Maul, then stands up.-

Herbert: Kirk, Bishop, you two can stay here. I figure the pair of you have a lot to talk about. I'm just going to pop my head outside for a moment and see what's going on.

-He proceeds to do exactly that, sticking his head out of the door with Maul hovering behind him.-

Herbert: Is something the matter? People are still trying to sleep, you know.

"... Figures you of all people would see me like this." she said, her voice sounding rather weak.

-Herbert raises an eyebrow at Lyuri and steps out into the corridor, his expression a mix of confused and concerned.-

Herbert: What's wrong with you? You look like you've just watched someone die or something.

Couriway Town

Lawrence has arrived here on his lonesome after seeing his sister off for the day and is currently relaxing by the Train station.

One of the Ultra Balls on his belt tilts back and fourth on it's lonesome, before releasing itself.

Barcina the Marowak♂: <Duuude~ Aw, this weekend's gunna be great~!>

Barcina starts tugging at the leg of Lawrence's pants.

The Marowak pulls out a calender from the hyperspace with this weekend circled in green.

Lawrence quickly glances to the side, and puts the calender away.

Volcarona: Ow! That...Huuurt...

Volcarona is pierced by the rocks; no longer in any shape to battle. Robin heals her, and tends to her for a good two minutes.

Robin: There...And don't worry about a thing. We can't win them all, can we?

Volcarona: R-Robin...?

Robin: Yes?

Volcarona: I'm fine, really, but...The fight?

'"Robin:' I...Almost forgot.''

Ferrothorn! Come out and use Stealth Rock!

Ferrothorn: Lay witness to a technique passed down from my father, to me!

That choice of words seemingly hurt Lyuri quite a bit as shown by her wincing.

"I... Why do you even care about it? Every time we talk it's clear you still don't like me, but now you're concerned?"

In the end who ends up winning is Teishi, through faking Ryu out and being able to hit him once he fell into the trap.

"<I win~>" said Teishi

"<Ow... I should've seen that coming.>" said Ryu.

-Herbert glances down, seemingly choosing his words carefully.-

Herbert: ...I'll admit it, you're right. I still don't like you. But that doesn't mean I enjoy seeing you like this. Hell, I don't enjoy seeing anyone like this. I know I'm a jerk, but I'm trying to change that, and I don't want to kick people whilst they're down. We both went through some pretty awful stuff. I mean, you've seen me at my lowest, and... well, I guess now I'm returning the favour. So to speak.

-He scratches the back of his neck.-

Herbert: Not entirely sure where I was going with that. But still... believe it or not, I don't want another argument. So I'll ask again. Something wrong?

"I... I don't want to talk about it. It's... Awful. Just leave me alone, it's probably better that way." said Lyuri, still crying even though she was trying to hold back the tears the best she could.

-Herbert looks reluctant to back off, but seems to be aware that his presence probably isn't making things any better.-

Herbert: Well, if you're sure... I'll just leave you-

Maul: ~I know how to fix this.~

Herbert: Wait, what are you...

-Realisation dawns on Herbert's face.-

Herbert: NO. DON'T YOU DARE. THAT IS NOT FIXING THINGS. IT'S THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF FIXING THINGS. BREAKING THINGS WOULD FIX THEM BETTER THAN-

-There is a pink flash and Herbert drops to the ground, snoring heavily.-

Lyuri takes a step back once she sees Herbert collapse on the ground.

"... Wait, are you..." said Lyuri, just now realizing what's going on.

-He promptly repeats the process with Lyuri.-

Route 15 – Past

Battle music. well, Magnemite is technically robotish, so I guess it counts...

Denshi: <Well, here we go.>

Forge: <Just don't fool around.>

Denshi: <I'll try to! ♪>

Denshi starts by getting speed and making fast circles around Forge, trying to find an opening in her opponent's defenses. As she was doing it, Forge focused and lifted up the blue spheres. Then they went through the air, at speed where if they passed by you, you would hear characteristic SWOOSH! They followed Denshi for a good while. Then she jumped in the air as the spheres flew by her, and you could hear crackling electricity, forming around her cheeks. Then she hugged and nuzzled him. Forge managed to recover just in time to avoid his own attack following her.

Forge is now rapidly spinning around his own axis. Denshi decided to take her time by charging and trying to use her long tail to grab Forge and toss him around. Then, as she was close, a bright flash of light is loosed from Forge's body, right into Denshi's face. This didn't hurt her, but instead temporarily blinded her, so she crashed into a near tree.

Forge: <Still can't make this do anything that doesn't involve blinding.>

Denshi: <Hey! What is this tree doing here? It wasn't growing here a second ago!>

Eridanus: I am sure it was.

Lyuri collapses on the ground, going back to sleep once again

Herbert would wake up in what appears to be a library, upon taking a closer look, or just looking up, he would see that the building was enormous and with an enormous number of bookshelves around.

-Upon waking up and surveying his surroundings, Herbert promptly ignores all the rules about talking in libraries.-

-He kicks one of the bookshelves furiously.-

-Lyuri, by contrast, may find herself waking up in the streets of a familiar Sinn city. For once, the weather appears to be near-perfect - the sun is shining, the sound of Starly chirping can be heard in the distance, and there's barely a cloud in the sky.-

Library - Lyuri's Mindscape

"I would appreciate if you didn't cause any damage during your stay."

Herbert would then notice a girl that heavily resembled Lyuri, but with a ponytail and wearing a long-sleeved green shirt with a white tie and green pants, the hair color was still the same as ever though. She also was carrying a book and was wearing reading glasses, making her look very much like a librarian

Eterna City - Herbert's Mindscape

Lyuri looks around and sighs, before leaning against a nearby tree

"Glad to see that at least somebody is happy."
