Ren: -after all the first round battles have finished- And with that Victory, we have our Semi-Finalists!

-Ren leads a round of applause-

Ren: I've been asked to remind all guests and contestants that contestants are are allowed to use a different Pokemon each round if they desire. Now with that out of the way, let's see our first semi-final match-up!

-On the screen above the stage, the pictures of Joseph and Hycainthus appear on opposite sides off the screen. A full yellow gauge appears beneath each Picture.-

Ren: And our first semi-final battle is Joseph Hudson against Hycainthus Del Sidhe! The first to empty their opponent's points gauge or knock out the opponent's mon is the winner! Both of you, break a leg!

-Ren applauds enthusiastically as he exits the stage.-

He nods to Oberon. Oberon sets up a Light Screen! The screen dazzles as it catches the light from the stage.

-she then sculpts a ball of Obscura and launches it at Oberon-

-Diane sighs, takes off her own armband, and squeezes in as well-

Diane: Clemont, congratulations. You just saw a magic trick. The point of them is to not question them.

Oberon smiles. <Yes, but the shadows... What do they mean?>

Oberon's Filter reduced damage!

Oberon twirls. He uses Substitute! The Substitute is a perfectly sculpted image of Lady... being kicked in the candelabra by Oberon.

-she launches a star of blue flames at Oberon-

The Substitute shatters! Oberon appears, doing a handstand on Lady's head. <Hai!> He blows a kiss then uses a close range Psyshock, using the blast to do a backflip.

-she forms a tornado of blue flame around her before sending it at Oberon, using Inferno-

Oberon cartwheels out of the way. <Whoo. Such fire. Much miss. Wow.> He claps in a way that makes Lady want to BURN HIM MOAR.
