Hyacinthus grins. "I speak only truths, ma'am. But, I apologize for leaving again after such short notice, I'll be heading to Lady Echo to let her know that, well, that I'm not dead, and that I'm back under full time employment."

Route 14, earlier

-After some bit of walking, Hyp and Foudre have arrived here-

Foudre: <So... What are we suposed to be doing in this place?>

Hyp: <What have been doing for past few months.>

Foudre: <Right...>

-Hyp notices a Quagsire, then uses Whirlwind, blowing it away-

Hyp: <There, now to find next->

-He stops as he notices Quagsire suddenly appearing from various places in the swamp-

Quagsire: <I think you kids might need to be taught a lesson in manners.>

Hyp: <Don't make laugh. Much stronger anyway.>

Foudre: <Who are you supposed to be, anyway?>

Quagsire: <We are... the Aksltl Bad Boyz.>

Foudre: <...The what?>

Hyp: <Could have picked better name.>

Quagsire: <...And you just made things worse.>

Hyp: <Not worried.>

-He tries using a Head Smash on one of the Quagsire, while Foudre tries Spark on another-

-The Head Smash doesn't do especially much damage while the Spark does absolutely nothing-

Quagsire: <We're Ground type, you know.>

Foudre: <Rggh...>

Quagsire: <We're not going to let you have all the attacking, you know...>

-She and the other Quagsire then start using Mud Bomb-

Route 14, a bit later

-Maggie came here as well-

Maggie: "Hm... It's a swamp, so there are probably going to be some Ground-types here..."

"...Not that there weren't before, but that was a bit... strange..."

"Not that I wouldn't mind a team member that references Mother but..."

-She then notices a certain large group of Quagsire-

Maggie: "...Quagsire? Well... I've got a lot of Water-types already, but I kind of like them and I should probably stop debating this out loud, but-"

-As she draws closer, she notices who the Quagsire are surrounding-

Maggie: "...Crud..."

-She sends out M. Bush-

Maggie: "Razor Leaf!"

-M. Bush sends the leaves at the Quagsire, dealing a decent amount of damage-

Quagsire: <Hey, we're busy taching some kids a lesson.>

Maggie: "...And I'm supposed to be in charge of them. Not that I'm doing the best job at it..."

Quagsire: <So, you're responsible for them, then? Then you're going to get it too!>

Maggie: "Uh..."

M. Bush: <Oh, we're going to battle?>

Maggie: "...Probably not."

-She takes out Foudre's and Hyp's Balls and recalls them-

Quagsire: <Wait, you can't do that!>

Maggie: "Yeah... I'm just gonna..."

-She rushes off-

Lumiose Central Center, later than this, but still before now

-Maggie has waited for her Pokemon to be healed, and has gotten them back-

-She sends out Foudre-

Foudre: <Seems like you got there in the nick of time...>

Maggie: "Yeah..."

"Listen, Foudre... I bet you think I haven't been paying as much attention recently, and that's sorta right, but I have been trying."

Foudre: <Hmm...>

Maggie: "I'm going to try and improve. I'm still going to have problems and I wouldn't be surprised if we have something like this conversation again, but as an effort to that I'm going to have to ask you something."

Foudre: <...Yeah, what is it?>

Maggie: "...Could you please stop doing... whatever it is you and Hyp did to get those Quagsire mad at you? I'd rather battling for when it's safer and you won't end up in a situation like that."

Foudre: <...>

<...Yeah, fine.>

Maggie: "Thanks, Foudre."

"Now, since going back to Route 14 isn't the best option... Let's see if Route 13 has any good op-"

-M. Bush pops out of her ball-

M. Bush: <You just got a Ground-type, though!>

Maggie: "...Huh?"

M. Bush: <You said you wanted a Quagsire, so I ended up using one of your balls to catch one of them.>

Maggie: "...Right, assuming this isn't like the Binacle incident, hopefully we can get this sorted out so no one will be attacking anyone."

M. Bush: <Great!>

-She pops back into her ball-

Maggie: "Right, then..."

Foudre: <...Maggie?>

Maggie: "Yeah?"

Foudre: <...Thanks for trying to pay attention.>

-Maggie smiles-

Maggie: "No problem. Now we just need to see if I can follow through..."

Lumiose Civic Center, now

-Maggie and Crow are here, though not near each other and have done little of consequence other than reacting as they normally would-

-Maggie is thinking she should get talking with Crow out of the way at some point, but doesn't think now's a good time-

Munn snorts at Herbert.

"Still a bit of an asshole, I see. Oh well. Takes all sorts, I guess."

Kim opens the doors and steps inside, with Rex holding it open for Melody and Ulysses. This gives him time to notice that Aqua has been replaced by a Panpour wearing a pirate skullcap with an A on it.

Panpour: <Arr.>

Rex: ...Tell her not to get up to trouble.

Panpour: <Aye, matey. Anyone who troubles our leader will walk the plank. Shiver me timbers.>

Rex: You know Team Aqua isn't a group of pirates, right?

Panpour: <Don't ruin my dreams. >

-Herbert turns back to Samantha.-

Herbert: Oh, right, that Red. Well, I don't care if I'm channelling him. He's good at making sure assholes get their dues.

-He looks to Crewe.-

Herbert: That's not an excuse! He wasn't brainwashed or anything! He murdered dozens of people and nearly killed you of his own free will!

-He looks over at DS.-

Herbert: And do you have any idea how many people have died because of him? He was perfectly willing to kill Crewe and Every. Saving one single person doesn't make him a hero, it just shows that he doesn't slaughter people who are currently on his side.

-Zeal enters, waving a flashlight around in a poor attempt at making his arrival more dramatic.-

Zeal: Yo! So this is a thing, right? Did I miss anything?

-Lanie walks in behind him.-

Lyuri just sighs and leans against a wall, looking up and waiting for time to pass. Sakura just winces at the insuing discussion and sighs.

Jacob: "Herbert for the love of Arceus if you don't shut up and wait until we're done before you start whining, which is perfectly fine, I mean, to complain and all, just let us have the damn meeting first, I'm going to let Regina put you to sleep until we're done.
