Dune: That's an unfortunate side effect of a theoretical condition called "Soul Bonding". As unscientific as it might sound, it's a rather prevalent theory that, whenever a Heatran linked to a volcano is removed, the volcano mirrors the effects in rather extreme ways.

   Diane   : Headaches are usually a sign someone is not okay.

   Diane   : Unless you know some magic way of getting rid of one, not really.

Skye: A bit of fresh air might help... You haven't really come outside very much.

   Diane   : I've liked having some time alone.

-She gets an idea-

Skye: ...I know a really good place to help you clear your head, actually.

Dune: It's a very odd volcano in eastern Unova. It's both active... and not. Some people think that it's odd not-quite-activity is due to it's resident Heatran. There are also volcanoes in Sinnoh and Oblivia that are believed to be connected to Heatran.

Selene: <Ahem.>

Dune: Oh, right. What I'm trying to say is that we're dealing with something very odd - the volcano, for all intents and purposes, is the Heatran. And vice versa. It's kinda weird.

-He puts the book away.-

Dune: Did you happen to notice anything else while you were there?

"Nothing too amazing...But something happened. I was attacked."

-After a fairly long amount of walking and a slightly smaller amount of flying, Skye and    Diane    reach the top.-

Skye: -putting the armband back on- Here we are...

   Diane   : -taking hers off- ...Hm.

-Skye sits down on the edge of an outcrop near the peak-

Skye: Do you like it?

   Diane   : -hesitates, before sitting next to Skye- ...It's nice.

-Skye manages a slight smile, and looks out over the edge, looking drowsy-

   Diane   : ...You seem tired.

Skye: I haven't gotten much sleep recently...

-She looks back at    Diane   -

Skye: I've been worried about you... You don't recognize me at all—

   Diane   : —and I should, I know...

-   Diane    looks straight into Skye's eyes with her own. Beneath her gaze was a pain that, although diminishing, would be locked into her expression forever.-

   Diane   : ...Who are you, really?

Well, she has long black hair, golden eyes, usually wears a red sleeveless top under a green jacket, although recently she's sometimes been wearing the jacket tied around her waist since it can get kind of warm around these parts.

Herbert: ...so I'm left wondering what the point of getting a hoverbike was in the first place, since I don't have a clue about how to maintain it. And the instruction manual may as well be written in German for all the sense it makes. See, computers I can work with, but machinery leaves me stumped.

Alice: Only you would complain about a free hoverbike, Lucius.

Herbert: Hey, I have Maul if I need to get somewhere quickly.

Bishop: <He can only take you to places you've been before, though.>

Herbert: In that case, then, it probably would've been cheaper and easier to get me a Golurk, since those things can-
