This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules - tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

And don't forget he thinks Peter would've been a better son.

Norman is not father of the year, in other words...
But Liz says she's trying to help her son, right? Her son is Norman's grandson, which could be a non-sex-related reason for helping him.
Yeah, I don't think the two are boinking. If I had to suffice a guess, Normie is probably having some sort of Goblin Genetic Breakdown, and Norman is dangling the cure in front of Liz.
That makes a lot of sense. It seems to be something that would make Liz desperate enough to work with her father in law, who attacked her and kidnapped her son to experiment on him in the first place.
Yeah, I could buy that. She tells her son "she's doing it all for him," and now that we know Gobby isn't a time-displaced Normie, it explains why Liz Allen, of all people, would suddenly start working for Norman Sr. Man, Norman Osborn is such a douche. It wouldn't even surprise me if he was playing with his grandson's life like that. Gotta love Gobby, he's like Luthor had a baby with the Joker.
The very best, like no one ever was. Check out my Spider-Man fanfic here! [1]I know I'm going to regret this later, but what is the consensus here on Wolverine vs. Spider-Man?
Depends on the situation/location. Either Spidey manages to immobilize Wolverine in such a way he can't use his claws, or Wolverine runs Spidey through after exhausting Spidey (because even though he could track Spider-Man down with his nose, surprise attack is impossible, and Wolverine could outlast due to his healing ability).
Personally I'd go with Peter, since a fight with Spider-Man is most likely to take place in NYC, which is great for the webslinger since Spidey could just web Wolverine up, or lead him to some quick dry cement, and Spidey has tons of experience fighting people with unlimited endurance or those who just need to be immobilized.
I wouldn't be surprised if Norman is playing crazy mind games with her, dosing her or Normie with something, or otherwise doing mental torture. (And it really makes me want to see Harry back in the game)
Can Wolverine be knocked out? Otherwise I'm not sure how he can lose. If so, Spidey lolstomps. Actually, his webbing should be enough for him to just immobilize Wolverine effortlessly if he can be knocked out or not.
Not to go all Batman, but are we talking Prep time?
In a straight up, no holds barred fight to the death, Wolverine. Logan is a superior fighter and has the healing factor.
Now, if this is your typical Let's You and Him Fight, then Spider-Man.
Wolverine can be knocked unconscious. His healing favorite just makes it really really hard for him to actually die.

Spidey webs Wolverine up long enough to use his head for a speedbag and knock him out. Which, given Spidey's speed and strength, shouldn't take too long.
My various fanfics. And does Wolverine have super strength/durability? If not, Spidey can knock him out in one punch, I remember him fighting some big guy who had his ability to sense pain turned off, but otherwise had no super powers, and Spidey just held back a little less and knocked him out instantly.
This is the same Spider-Man that once chucked Wolverine out of a skyscraper through a bulletproof window, right?
Wolverine is one of the most durable character in Universe and one of the best hand to hand combatants. That he has those adamantium skeleton and claws.
What was funny about that is it was treated as an Unusually Uninteresting Sight.

No prep time, historically that leads to all kinds of scenario that I rather not get into.

Eh, screw how good he is at hand to hand. Super strength, speed, reflexes are vastly better than human skill. Plus Spidey Sense should make that moot if it's actually working how it's said to for this fight.
Plus webs. Wolverine has no counter to being webbed to the ground.

The Hulk beat Wolverine once just by punching him in the head repeatedly to give him all the concussions.
Squishy brain rattling around an adamantium skull.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersIs the crazy Osborn hair dead? Has yet to read the last issue of Superior, but from my understanding Norman had plastic surgery and no longer has the wacky hair style, Harry has gone bald, and Normie has a normal hair style.
If so, R.I.P. Osborn hair. I'll miss you.

NOOOOO! The Osborn hair has left us! By the way, what happened to Harry after American Son?
The very best, like no one ever was. Check out my Spider-Man fanfic here! [1]Doesn't Sandman still have the Crazy Osborn Hair?
Sandman is Norman Osborn's illegitimate child.
The very best, like no one ever was. Check out my Spider-Man fanfic here! [1]He does, forgot about him at first. Not sure he counts though. :/
Edit: Red M: As far I know, Harry's hiding out somewhere. He shaved his head and grew a beard.

IIRC, didn't John Byrne's reboot state Flint was an illegitimate cousin of Norman or something like that?
He ended up facing down Gabriel Stacy after the latter took the American Son armor for himself. Lily then showed up again later and ended up finally giving birth to their son, who was kidnapped in an attempt by Doctor Octopus to unlock the secrets of a new species due to the supposed combined Goblin Formulas inside of that child. Once Spider-Man saved his son, Harry decided to move to Seattle with it while Lily ran off.
Harry was last seen cameo'ing in Amazing Spider-Man 696 or 697.

Oh, I remember that issue with the baby being kidnapped and Spidey going apeshit.
And his girlfriend. And his friend Gwen.
