I nominate this image: , a before and after shot of The Savage Dragon villains Openface and Octopus being turned back into humans by the Nega-Bomb.
I have no idea what's going on there.
Rhymes with "Protracted."Yeah, I have no idea what that's supposed to be.
Reaction Image RepositoryThat one looks like the viewer removed some 5th dimension glasses.
Fanfic Recs orwellianretcon'd: cutlocked for committee or for Google?I'd love to try to get some more One Piece images, but I'm not sure if it's noticeable by sight.
If anyone else knows a good frame that I could find, tell me, and I'll grab it.
Unearthing this thread, because I recently finished Akane's storyline in Tokimeki Memorial 2, and got to fight her Knight Templar Big Brother Sou-Banchou and his Power Nullifier.
Took several shots of his Power Nullifier sequence, and made a 3-panel pic, showing the Main Character (Iwase)'s Limit Break activation, Sou-Banchou's Power Nullifier activation, and Iwase's Limit Break nullified.
Here are the RAW pics if you want to try doing a better editing job than I:
- Limit Break activation: [1]◊ [2]◊ [3]◊
- Power Nullifier activation: [4]◊ [5]◊ [6]◊ [7]◊
- Limit Break nullified: [8]◊ [9]◊
And here is the 350px, bitmap vers. of the final 3-panel shown below, if you think you can put it in .JPG while under 200 ko all while keeping it at 350 px:
[10]◊

"Your kindness gives me the presentiment I can be reborn. Now, I want to believe at least in you." - Kaori YaeBump, no comment on my proposition above?
"Your kindness gives me the presentiment I can be reborn. Now, I want to believe at least in you." - Kaori YaeIt's alright.
Could be better *, but it works.

Its pretty confusing on what exactly is going on.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I don't really see it. It's kind of confusing who's glowing and why they're glowing and what's going on.
Rhymes with "Protracted."^^ and ^ : I don't see what's confusing. I made the thing as straightforward as possible, and on the contrary, the glows are the visual cues of the trope:
- 1st panel: Shows both opponents on the field. Player character activates his Limit Break. Activation symbolized by flaming glowing and flaming "Limit Break" words.
- 2nd panel: Enemy activates his Power Nullifier. Symbolized by the glowing on his otherwise normal eye (compared to 1st panel).
- 3rd panel: Player character's Limit Break nullified. Symbolized by the character getting blue in fear, and Limit Break words being frozen.
^^^ I don't really see how we can convey the sequence in less than 3 panels. Maybe we can eschew the 1st one, but then you don't have a view of both opponents, and the visual cues are partially lost.

"Your kindness gives me the presentiment I can be reborn. Now, I want to believe at least in you." - Kaori YaeI don't care for it at all.
Really, I like the visual pun (His limit break, got broken), but we probably could really do better.
Anyone got a pic of the scene where Brother Blood turned Cyborg's hand human?
So is anyone actually invoking the supposedly argument-ending "It has more than 5 words of text that wasn't originally translated from Japanese" argument about the Avengers image I posted earlier, or are we just using the theoretical possibility of such arguments to pre-emptively eliminate comics images?
Jet-a-Reeno!In short, I think that Avengers pick is certainly the best image suggested so far, but I also think we should still be able to do better.
I finally found a pic of the scene from X3 where Beast gets close to Leech and his hand turns human...not quite as transformed as I'd like, but I haven't had any luck until now. View image for wiki size.

Bump...any other thoughts?
That one doesn't work unless you know the character himself and know its not suppose to be like that.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Yeah, I have to agree. *I* know that the Beast has furry blue hands, but it's not self-evident from looking at him that he must have blue hands.
Plus, his hands actually are a bit bluish in the image anyway, because it's a mid-transformation thing.
Jet-a-Reeno!There is no silver age image of superman crippled over in pain going "the kryptonite is weakening my powers!"?
Please.Hmm, let's see what we can find for Gold Kryptonite:
Jet-a-Reeno!The second works better; cropped and resized:
I'd make it closer to 350 for maximum readability.
Jet-a-Reeno!
Bumping for resolution's sake.
