I have to admit, that Gen Goat costume looks pretty cool.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. From what I heard, Ultra has tons of glitches, including a lulzy post-kill Ultra glitch that Cody has.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle. How does that Cody one work?
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowNever heard of that one but I got into SF 4 pretty late. I assume it's this:

Cool, Dee Jay is a command character now instead of a charge char. I must confess, I'm kinda looking forward to this now. Wanna see what they did to Sakura.
Waiting for Mika fans to start rioting at Fuerte's new arse move now......
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowHer fanbase isn't big enough for that. :P
The frequency of "this should be in the actual game" responses isn't surprising though (even if a few would be nice to see).
They coulda done a little more to make Ryu really stand out but Omega mode is still looking fine.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowSerious question: Is Street Fighter IV the Brawl of Street Fighter? Or could it be the Smash 4 of SF (more balanced and has situational combos but still rather slow/defense focused)? Because this:
I even saw a few comments unfavorably contrasting it to Melee. And I do see a lot of Smash 4 defenders trying to compare it to SF4, unaware that any dual Street Fighter+Smash fan probably wouldn't like SF4 if they don't like Brawl...

Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Honest question: If Vega/M. Bison's Nebulous Evil Organisation's name is written シャドルー in Japanese, which converts to Shadoruu in romaji, then how is it that the official English spelling of the name is "Shadaloo" (even the Japanese Wikipedia says so)?

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.So...
They should have just said Blanka was some kind of mutant and that's why he was able to gain powers during his time in the amazon.
It would make more sense than his current story of because.
One Strip! One Strip!"Just because" actually works within Japanese culture, since it kinda still believes that the supernatural does exist, and thus gaining superhuman abilities through a "sufficient" amount of effort is a plausible idea (hence the osentensibly metaphorical "spiritual self-improvement" aspect of martial arts being a few steps away from low-grade Supernatural Martial Arts).

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Wonder if a toaster in the bathtub would have worked the same. Except the being green part.
Wake me up at your own risk.Currently playing SSFIV, I've finally known how to charge. The game really didn't tell me that diagonals count as charge too.
Where there's life, there's hope.SF 4 is interesting because it's both overrated and underrated at the same time.
It was pivotal to the modern comeback of the fighting game genre. It's a solid enough fighter on its own. Even with its flaws, it's far from a bad game.
But some people swear up and down it is trash(3rd Strike fanboys were the worst about this), that people only played it because it was the hot thing and not particularly good or fun., Street Fighter and marvel to a slightly lesser extent are very much the "Hollywood Fighters" among the fighter genre often grabbing the biggest numbers and players regardless of how players feel about the actual game itself.
What really gets me are the goons who put so much time into these games and then say, OH IT SHIT like really? Then why did you even bother playing it? You couldn't pay me to make a career out of playing a game I don't like. But that's EXACTLY what many pro players do.

What exactly was the ire from III fans about? That it was commercially successful or that it didn't require a PHD to play?
I think so.
Some people have a job they don't like.

Where there's life, there's hope. They felt 3S was a better game(personally I feel similar though I see 4's appeal and why someone might prefer it) although it wasn't very balanced lol. Honestly a lot of it felt rooted in jealously considering how 3rd Strike never had the mass appeal SF 4 achieved. You see a LOT of that in the FGC. Some fanbases get mad salty over one game getting more attention than others. Even Blazblue in its early days wasn't free from a portion of GG fans shitting on it every chance they got. Like I get it with rival companies but same company/same franchise fandom pettiness is just silly.
For such a male dominated scene, the FGC sure are some drama queens lol.
Apparently the netcode on some versions is still bad.
