Like how the King Of Fighters live action movie had Ray Park as Billy Kane pretending to be Rugal Bernstein.

Man, I love playing these games in actual arcades. I've had some good matches down as Hugo in 3rd Strike. Feels great to be able to fist bump the player next to me and see myself improve in this small pond.

Can anyone make heads or tails of this PS 4 Street Fighter thing? Could mean something big.

I rebought SSF 4 AE on Steam in the end since I get the feeling the disc version I had once might not be portable to Steam.

Still need to reget all the costumes though.

But at least its easier for me to upgrade to USF 4.

Apparently, according to IGN, this is the first teaser for Tekken X Street Fighter. Well it's one suggestion I guess. :|

Why would it have anything to do with Tekken X Street Fighter? Nothing in the video suggests anything Tekken-related.

I'm just barely edging a month on this but Someone has created a camera control mod for hte PC version of SSF4. Looks petty nifty too.

New move for Ken: Smokey Hadoken.

New move for Ryu: Wire-Fighting Katana Slash.

Wait, why is Ken fighting Guile? I know they are not exactly the closest of in-laws, but this is ridiculous. And why is Honda fighting Chun Li and Ryu? Why Dhaslim against Chun Li?

So, here's a question. We all know that Capcom is pretty much incapable of letting the Street Fighter Series move forward in their series, with the timeline looking like some sort of bacon weave of people not-quite dying and not-quite aging.

If it were up to you, what would the timeline of the Street Fighter Series? Assume that Street Fighter 1 is just...fighting game, and then it goes 2->3->4-5.

Obviously, this is how they spend their downtime between tournament matches.

So the question is how would we envision the series if it chronologically was supposed to go II > III > IV > V (but no Alpha)? I'm not quite sure I follow.

Well, in that case, the story would be an utter mess.

Although, actually, having IV set after III could make some sense if you changed around a few details (like Eliza's pregnancy, Akuma still hounding Ryu about the Chop Suey no Hado, etc.) Dudley, for example, wouldn't retroactively Take A Level In Jerkass, and, if we were to assume Balrog's II ending of him running Shadaloo into the ground to be canon, the state of Shadaloo and S.I.N. would be understandable given Chun-Li managing to shut down their operation before the Illuminati appeared on the scene in III (plus, we could explain away Seth's status as a poor man's Gill when it comes to some of his moves as Seth analyzing Gill's data; same goes for his Remy-style Sonic Booms).

Nonononono. I'm not saying the preexisting Chronology of each game is just smooshed in that order. I'm saying what would your Street Fighter be?

So... we're talking about what we each think SFV should be, then?

I feel like I could word this question better if I was more aware of the Street Fighter lore myself. >_>
