My dreams of a Metal Gear Solid/Bomberman crossover will finally have a remote chance of being a reality?

Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows. You have those kinds of dream crossovers?
Then again, who am I to talk?
It's more frustrating waiting for the asskicking than the asskicking itself....how would that work? Would it play like MGS? Bomberman? Something new?
If someone wants to accuse us of eating coconut shells, then that's their business. We know what we're doing. - Achaan ChahI'm not sure if I like this development.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Considering the out-there-ness of MGS, I actually could see such a crossover.
People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.I've only played Bomberman Generations, but I would love to see Constructor X again.

Well, they could try to tie in military super-soldier projects and the fact that Bomberman is supposedly a robot. They could even make the Bomberman Zero approach seem plausible. Probably... Maybe...

-dislikes Bomberman Zero for not being cute-

You got some dirt on you. Here's some more! When I first heard about it I thought it was one of those lame stories about "darker and edgier" versions of things. BUT IT WAS NOT.

Konami and Hudson: And now we can create our Konami/Hudson Mega Crossover game!
I thought this had already happened?
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI."My dreams of a Metal Gear Solid/Bomberman crossover will finally have a remote chance of being a reality?"
Dream Mix TV: World Fighters apparently wasn't good enough for you, I guess. Not that I've played it (don't have a PS 2, No Export for You), but how do Solid Snake vs. Simon Belmont vs. Bomberman vs. Optimus Prime matchups sound to you?
Anyway, I'm not sure how I feel about this. What will happen to Hudson Soft's IPs as a result? (I just hope it doesn't result in another Act Zero. In fact, I feel ashamed for even admitting its existence. Never mind that they ditched the general insanely adorable look-they BOTCHED THE CORE GAMEPLAY, especially that awful, AWFUL camera.)

Or, you know, he just didn't know about it because of how freaking obscure it is.
One of my few regrets about being born female is the inability to grow a handlebar mustache. -LandstanderSounds interesting enough. Though I must wonder what the fate of future Mario Party games are, given that they've traditionally been Hudson developed-Nintendo published. Would that mean that they'd be under Konami's label (like how Sega published the Mario & Sonic Olympics games outside of Japan), or Nintendo's (like DDR: Mario Mix)? Assuming, that is, that they even plan to do any more, what with most of the guys working on the series leaving Hudson to form Nd Cube after Mario Party 8.
Still, now Bomberman, and . . . uhh . . . , everyone whose games I never really played (thank god for The Other Wiki) are now in the house of Metal Gear, Silent Hill, DDR and Castlevania.
"Or, you know, he just didn't know about it because of how freaking obscure it is."
Well, that too, for obvious reasons. I tend to specialize in learning about obscure games, sometimes even using the Wiki to dig up cult classics and such.
Still, if they kept Snake in the next Super Smash Bros (I doubt it) and added Bomberman (who would totally fit in that series), I sure wouldn't mind seeing them have at it in another Mascot Fighter. (And throw in Wario for that same match, just for Wario Blast's sake.)
The team that made Mario Party got hired by Nintendo themselves and recently made Wii Party
Wizard Needs Food BadlyBomberman + MGS = Silent Bomber by Cyber Connect 2.
AKA, that one page that I always keep pushing back for some reason or another.
edit: Scratch that. zetzugami you have my utmost respect.

...Let us in...Silent Bomber sounds intriguing. I'll check it out, especially since it seems like it Needs More Love, and it won't give people the wrong impression of me like a certain other Cyber Connect 2 PS 1 game will.
I also managed to get a few Bomberman Generation matches in at the uni game room today. Great times. (Now, to get Saturn Bomberman with 10 players going in there...why have only that one and Atomic Bomberman hit the 10-player mark?)
I have only played Atomic Bomberman. I've heard some bashing of it, but I personnaly found it fun as hell.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."So... wait, does that mean Lost In Shadow is halfway-independent-Hudon's swan song?
That still wouldn't be anywhere close to the weirdest thing MGS has had a crossover with.
If they can crossover with Ape Escape, they can do it with damn near everything
I want to see a MGS/Tetris crossover now.
People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.
It appears that Konami is set to take over Hudson. They've already had a 54% stake in the company, but it looks that Konami will own Hudson 100% now.
Any thoughts?
