Kirby's Air Ride is positive, wish Randomness could've played it sooner...

Better late than never though.

We need Kirby Air Ride on the Switch.

There's a Kirby forum in tv tropes? Cool.

I just got 100% in Planet Robobot and I really want to say it. Best game I've played in a very long time.

[up] Congrats! grin I never 100%-ted that game, sadly. I could find all the Code Cubes, but that True Arena...

Well, the True Arena is an cakewalk if you used an certain Ability...

If by "certain Ability" you mean "any ability except Circus and Wheel".

I love Robobot but it's not very difficult at all, not even the True Arena.

Yeah, Wheel and Circus are next to being useless in that mode. But I was referring to Archer, which is the new Stone with an spammable attack.

Besides, the game doesn't get hard until you fight the Dedede clones. Excluding the hidden bosses, the game still leans on the easy side.

Even then, in terms of difficulty, I'd not call them a new step beyond the norm for Kirby.

I sure said that!

The Dedede Clones are the only kinda-challenging boss, and only the part where there's three of 'em hopping around everywhere. The cannon part is easier than the previous two bosses.

Why does everyone here seem to hate Circus? I find it to actually be pretty useful, if not an outright Game-Breaker. Sure not all of its abilities are useful, but it has a lot of invincibility frames. Plus Ball Twirl and Trampoline + Acrobatics do a crapton of damage. As a matter of fact, my current fastest time in Robobot's True Arena (22:43) was set by Circus.

Having done the True Arena a whole bunch of times, I generally think opting for an ability that does a lot of damage and has invincibility frames (e.g. Hammer) is the way to go. With how mobile the bosses are in Robobot, it's better to kill them quickly before they get to the really troublesome attack patterns.

It's got a bunch of oddly-shaped, inflexible attack ranges, basically.

[up]x2: I hate Circus because it lacks horizontal range. I generally prefer something easier to use, like Sword or Doctor.

[up] Yeah, same.

To clarify, I use hammer for the True Arena. I manage to get up to Galacta Knight, and then get wrecked by him or Star Dream OS.

Circus is super fun to play around with in the main game, but it's not my first choice to take into the Arenas, no.

Circus may be the best ability, but it's pretty weak in attack...

I finished the True Arena with hammer. It's the other ability I know how to use besides cutter.

The problem I have with stone and archer is that I tend to play very aggressively and move around a lot like attacking through attacks instead of dodging. Playing aggressively with stone tends to cause me to be stuck in an unfortunate position (like directly beneath a giant, angry, mechanised, tree) and take more damage than necessary. The only thing archer has is its invincibility-camo thing, which makes it weak against airborne enemies and tires out my left thumb, it's pretty difficult to use otherwise.

Circus is too confusing for me to use even in the main game.
