It's actually pretty funny. It outstaged Family Guy in my opinion.
(wo)Man of a thousand voices... In her head.God it was terrible. Most of the jokes were stupid gross jokes, and all the dialogue had everyone tripping over each other. And it has got to be the first time a cartoon had not one, but three annoying children.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. For once, I actually liked the youngest kid. Reminds me of a few classmates I used to know, but that's just me.
The art is kinda weird looking, but all in all I liked it. I also agree that it was better than new Family Guy episodes.
Eh. It was So OK, It's Average in my opinion. I didn't hate it, but I didn't like it that much either. It just feels kinda bland to me. You'd expect a show with two pedofile jokes in the first episode to be more edgy and funny than it was.
We're going to spread this shit like Nutella.Hmm... No Sir, I don't like it. ... In all seriously though, I don't really care for it, especially since Fox seems to want to replace American Dad! with it. It had maybe two or three funny jokes, but that's it. Plus, the animation is just... UGH... And It Just Bugs Me! how all the female characters (outside of the youngest) are voiced by guys. Plus, I don't really care for any of the characters, again, except for the little chick. She's actually pretty okay. Seems to actually have a bit of personality.
Why did they burry the fireman behind the tree? BECAUSE HE'S DEAD!Finally got around to seeing the pilot of this show on Hulu.
Good things:
- H. Jon Benjamin.
Bad things:
- Everything else in the show.
It seems to me like the premise for the first episode would have been good at the end of the season rather than the beginning. Doesn't make sense to me.
I didn't particularly care for the episode, but I would be willing to give it another chance when it comes on again. See if it can improve.
My Fanfiction.net Page My DeviantArt PageI'm willing to allow the show to Grow the Beard .
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.I find this show to be a bit bland. It needs more spice.
A Winner is You!It has been renewed for a second season but outside of Sit Down, Shut Up (which was more of Fox screwing Mitch Hurwitz that anything else), that always seems to happen with animated series on Fox.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/Bob's burgers is downright terrible, its just ANOTHER copy and paste family animated sitcom. I watched the first episode, and I couldn't even finish it.
I've just noticed something. The main characters in the show have the same first names as the Arab-American neighbors of the Smiths from American Dad.
Some folks on the Internet think they're a special GIFT to the world, and others aren't. In this perspective, they're kind of right. It's okay, I guess. It's trying not to be like the other shows, and that is going to be a tremendous challenge.
???
Some folks on the Internet think they're a special GIFT to the world, and others aren't. In this perspective, they're kind of right.Am I the only one that actually likes this series?
Well, it got renewed, so it must've did something right.
My Fanfiction.net Page My DeviantArt PageI agree with ninjaclown. as far as i can tell, they're trying as hard as they can to stay away from the kind of non sequitor humor you'd always find from Family Guy or those utterly formulaic Adult Swim shows. They're also trying to be a little more heartfelt, at the very least.
and well, I like the animation, even if it is still computer generated. I recently looked at Aqua Teen Hunger Force. I kinda vomitted in my mouth a little.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Not impressed one bit,it was like watching the first few Simpsons episodes ever where Homer doesn't sound right,Marge looks like she has a beak, and the episodes have more plot than characterization or humor.
Except this show didn't have good voice actors, looked downright weird, and the plots were weak.
For now it's So Okay Its Avergae at best, pitiful at worst but I'll let it Grow the Beard and besides it beats the formerly Seth Mac Farlane exclusive block that just happened to have Simpsons
Luminous beings are we, not this crude matterI like it because it has the same tone as Home Movies did. It's created and produced by Loren Bouchard, who did Dr. Katz, Home Movies, and Lucy: the Daughter of the Devil, and I can see the same kind of humor being used. I liked all his other shows, and Bob's Burgers is growing on me. The art style takes some getting used to, but then again Home Movies had some weird character designs too. If you didn't like his previous stuff, you may not like this.
Thunder, Thunder, Thunder...I absolutely adore this show, even if a large majority of the internet seem to disagree; it never fails to make me laugh, unlike any Family Guy and The Simpsons for a long time. It's nice to finally have a close spiritual successor to the finest, and most unappreciated, animated 'sitcom': King Of The Hill. I can see this show only getting better and better even if the internet opinion never does.
Yeah, reminded me of Home Movies as well.
Even AllenGregory was better than this,it's pretty sad when a cartoon about a perverted, pretentious second grader and his lust for a middle aged woman is better than the average stuff on this show.
Luminous beings are we, not this crude matterI thought it was alright. I'm glad it wasn't just another "random shit happens, flashbacks happen and hipster stoner comedy just because lol"
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.
So, apparently this is a new show on Fox. I haven't watched it. Judging from the commercials, well...
It's like someone decided they were going to try and ape Seth Mc Farlane, but with even worse animation.
Fanfiction I hate.
