EDIT: Page history shows that Japanese Teeth placed the image after an apparently deleted Image Pickin' discussion. So somebody does know.

[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.Why do you think that it's a Visual Novel?
It just has a Visual Novel-ish look. Everyone on Image Pickin' was stumped, so we decided to bring it over here.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyYeah, it looks too shaded to be animation, and if it was animation, those would be some pretty expertly timed screencaps.
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.I'll go ask Japanese Teeth if he knows.
He says he doesn't know, someone else suggested it and he just did the work. Says he doesn't know if the person who suggested it knew what it was from either.
If still none of us recognized it, it's either from anime/manga fanart, or from something really obscure and maybe even untranslated.
I mean, there are so few translated V Ns, that together, the sum of us probably read almost all of them.
I doubt it's fanart, or there wouldn't be two. The guy seems to be a demon, so if you really wanted to find out it'd probably be possible. Honestly, it sort of reminded me of Chrono Crusade.
Well, the chick has apparently been bisected, that's a sure sign that it's an action one.
Fight smart, not fair.Holy shit, all the times I'd looked at that, I didn't realize she was missing everything below the upper torso.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyTineye is no help. They got nothing for either the combined image or either half separately.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.iqbd either. I think I vaguely recall it being Tsukihime or something like that. Does that sound right?
Fight smart, not fair.Arha at least would have recognized a Tsukihime image.
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.^^I don't think so. I'm not that familiar with Tsukihime, but it doesn't seem like it to me.
^And that. Tsukihime's pretty well known.

Infinite Tree: an experimental storyIt looks too good to be Tsukihime. The art seems relatively new.
I write pretty good fanfiction, sometimes.Seeing Tsukihime mentioned makes me remember that Type Moon was coming out with a VN about demons, but I'm not sure that's even out yet and it's too spoilery looking for something that hasn't been released. Plus, it has a female protagonist.
So yeah, beats me. Maybe I'll cruise around the vndb for stuff with a demon protagonist tag.
Edit: Hmmm there's about twenty things with that tag plus probably a few categories it could also fall under. I saw a couple things that looked likely, but since I don't want to crawl through them all when that image is unlikely to be one of the ones shown to advertise it or whatever, I again have to go with 'beats me.'

I GIS'ed all the keywords I could think of, with no character name to go on. 25 pages deep on each search. Big fat goose-egg. Nothing that even looked like it could be the basis for a fan-art.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Closest I can think of is that the girl there looks like this person and that the guy there looks...sort of like this guy if his hair were cut, but I don't remember anything from that game that had such a scene (the characters I put here also didn't do anything with each other), along with the main character being a different person. Even Shipping Goggles would have a hard time putting the two first characters together, and the art appears a little too professional for me to consider it fanart of that kind of meaningless pairing.

If people learned from their mistakes, there wouldn't be this thing called bad habits.Arha: you mean Decoration Disorder Disconnection? Doesn't look like the right art, plus I think DDD is a light novel, not a VN.

I write pretty good fanfiction, sometimes.Of course, even all this is assuming he's supposed to be a demon, rather than some made-up thing unique to the setting.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyNo, I mean this which is supposed to be about demons and focus on Aozaki Aoko as the protagonist. Or that's what I seem to recall, anyway.
And with this those horns, he's unlikely to be an angel. If it's a VN, that website could probably find it, but since that's basically all we know about it I don't really know what to look for or how to confirm it.
Go ask /jp/ or /a/.
I can't stop listening to thisif this is still relevant or active, perhaps Daimao ?

We found the image's source a while back. It's from Inyōchū.

Anyone know what visual novel is the image of Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds?
