What if you ran a company you like...

If I ran SEGA, i would make Rouge an Acended Extra again, rather than being Demoted to Extra. I would also purchase the rights to Crash Bandicoot back from Activison and sell it back to Sony along with a few bad employees. I would also buy the rights to Sally Acorn and Bunnie Rabbot from Archie/Dic and use the two in a videogame. I would also kill off Shadow again. This time for real. I would make Wave and Storm bossfights in a future platformer, and reval Storm's mouth is lined with pointy, sharklike teeth. Jazwares would be approved to make Metal Sonic 3.0 as well.

If i ran Nickelodeon, I would make another Sponge Bob movie and and add Ren And Stimpy, Avatar The Last Airbender and Invader Zim to Nick At Nite. I would also do a console figing game based on all the shows and reboot Danger Mouse and put the original on Nick At Nite.

Flicky apparead in Sonic1 as one of the animals that comes out of dead Badniks. On another note, Sally Acorn was too.

It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.

If i ran Hasbro, I would try to vreate a transformers toy series focused around characters from shows who were prevously toyless.

If I ran Dreamworks Animation I'd can the last 3 Kung Fu Panda movies they've got planned and just make it a trilogy, end The Penguins of Madagascar (it doesn't line up with the movies! SO! MUCH!) and make a mandate requiring us to stick with trilogies if we ever do decide to make sequels to our movies. Also, there would be no more television series based on our movies. Once we'd release the HTTYD show, that'd be it.

Oh, and the obvious would happen too, and that movie they have planned for the Troll dolls? Not gonna happen, sorry.

And as for what's out already, Shark Tale never got released. It does not exist and never did.

If I owned Vizio, I would have them make more English translations for Detective Conan and have them change the American name for it to the Japanese name so that Jimmy is Shinichi, Richard is Kogoro, and Rachel is Ran, just the way it should be.

If I ran Retro Studios, I would get a 2.5D Metroid game greenlit, and get them to produce a Donkey Kong Country Returns trilogy like they did with Metroid Prime. I would also give them an idea that wasn't already an existing property in dire need of a reboot, to expand their creative output.

If I ran Marvel, I'd do a hell of a lot of streamlining, un-do One More Day, do a big old arc about superheroes regaining trust with each other after Civil War, and then I would hire myself to write one of my own comics.

If I ran Nintendo, I'd release a first-party flashcart for the 3DS so that the firm would have pretext to sue any would-be non-licensed 3DS flashcart manufacturers and distributors out of existence, as well as a basis through which to begin digitally distributing full-size commercial games within a year of the console’s launch. I'd also expand the 3DS' handheld VC to include GBA, NES, SNES, Virtual Boy, Sega Genesis, and TurboGrafx-16 (Am I spelling that right?) games within 18 months of the console's launch. In addition, I'd begin preparing preparing R&D for a release of an HD Wii successor sometime in late 2013 derived from Wii/GC hardware in order to preserve backwards compatibility and keep game development costs from spiking as much as development for the current HD Twins did. Said Wii successor would be the first Nintendo console to sport official DVD playback (Wii has unofficial DVD playback), sport a ~60-80 GB hard drive (once again, digital distribution), and bundled with both a Wiimote-style and a more conventional style controller as well as some sort of PSEye-style webcam for augmented reality games (if the 3DS can do it, why not?). Other goodies for the successor to the current king of the 7th Gen console wars would include a revamped online gaming system (i.e. something that is less cumbersome than the present system of friend codes), as well as a VC featuring all of the goodies of the present VC, plus GC and Wii titles. Said console would retail for <= $300 on the US market. For the lulz, I would also have a 3DS equivalent of the Game Boy Player produced for said console.

On the software side of the equation, I would have development on SSB 3DS, SMG 3DS, (not sure to what extent I would make them fresh installments versus updated rereleases, seeing as both franchises would likely represent killer apps for Nintendo’s future home consoles), Majora’s Mask 3DS, and the inevitable updated re-release of Pokemon B/W begun (assuming that they aren’t already in progress), as well as arrange for some sort of fresh Metroid, LoZ, Mario (possibly a M&L game, to complement Paper Mario’s new handheld debut), and some sort of Pokemon title (possibly a Pokemon Stadium 3 - no I don’t count PBR) and enter talks with Capcom to get a proper successor to MonHun Tri to hit the shelves within 12 months of the Wii successor’s release. I would also arrange for a cel-shaded 3D remake compilation of the MOTHER series produced for 3DS, with the absolute bare minimum of changes to the original games’ content for any non-Japan versions to avoid the wrath of copyright lawyers. On the topic of 3rd-Party software, just to make my rivals’ fanboys RAEG a little, I would enter talks in order to try and secure updated rereleases Mass Effect 1, Final Fantasy VII, and any MonHun Portable (for 3DS obviously) game for Nintendo Hardware.

Of course, I have about as much knowledge about the inner workings of the gaming industry as an inebriated wombat, so I'd probably do about as well managing Nintendo...

If I ran Sega, I'd make a Sonic game with about every major character so far (season two Chris WILL BE USEFUL FOR ONCE) into a fighting game. Sally fans rejoice.

Or something like that.

I'd also commission TMS for more Sonic X, a Sonic X movie, and more Sonic episodes for both Sonic the Hedgehogs.

Paizo: Get my setting book published. Commission a bunch of art for it from Wayne Reynolds and Eva Widermann. Get custom dice made.

Blizzard: Make damn sure certain race/class combos happen, races become playable, and we eventually get to go to Argus. Give certain underutilized races more story and presence. Update some character models, revamp and/or bugfix others. Un-nerf Counterspell. Double the number of slots per server (but not per account). Offer bulk discounts on multiple server transfers. And put in a worgen hunter questgiver named Violet, who has a pet wolf and wants you to kill seven named demons.
