Completely alienated. Spongebob's katana just came out of nowhere; there was no forewarning or consistency with previous episodes. Too many references to things that took place above the ocean. Nick really canned this show.

Lots of really interesting lore and backstory. It turns out that Bikini Bottom is a city in the Kingdom of Neptune, which we learn more about as the series progresses.
