Wally couldn't have been Emerald, since he already had a name.
I don't see anything there that says they could get an anime adaptation, it's just a ranking on what people want there to be an anime adaptation of of.
Considering how high it is, it seems likely they'll take it into consideration.
Watch SymphogearA slight possiblity or "consideration" isn't the same as confirmation, though. Don't bother speaking of this again until we know it's a given or not.
So I've finished the Emerald arc and it was awesome.
Except for, y'know, Emerald himself being an unlikeable and poorly developed character, Ruby and Sapphire going through even more Character Exaggeration, and the main villain being a pirate wearing space armor. Actually, that last part may actually be awesome in a way.

I don't want to see special get a show. I wouldn't mind if special's writer got himself a show to go crazy with but I'd rather see him use his own characters than present one's we are familiar with, yet not as we know them.
Do whatever with the flat, malleable player characters but leave the rest intact. Why not just pen new characters all the way through, say the game plots already happened and feature those in them just occasionally? Why not make a new setting like the Orre games did or have fun with Orre, Mystery Dungeon world or even Rumble world? Why watch a special anime when we have a special manga? I'd like to see a Pokemon adaptation to something different from all the others running.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackNo. I liked it, it was awesome. Emerald was no way unlikeable, Ruby and Sapphire were fine, and Guile was fine because Gold got to dress up in armour as well and be awesome.
I wonder why Archie had to rename himself as Guile?
Maybe he was a fan of a Certain meme?:
Meh. I just want to know why the available scanlations for B&W arc are messed up (missing chapters and wrong chronological order), and where I can find a nice, complete source.

Ahaha...Emerald wasn't really very likable to me until his backstory came into play and he was rather annoyingly hostile in the beginning. That said, he still pulled through in the end, but he isn't close to being my favorite, and while Emerald arc tied up the plot, it still came off as very weak in the end. No, seeing all the Dex Holders come together to perform their starters ultimate attacks doesn't save this arc, which is pretty shoddy. Kusaka's writing has slowly been degrading; nowadays I usually find myself reading it for the nods and multiple Mythology Gags.
Then again it is a kids' comic, so maybe I shouldn't be so miffed.
Also it's totally acceptable for people to have an opinion on these characters, whether it's love or hate; please deal with it.
I was mostly neutral to him throughout the whole thing until his backstory, where I felt sympathetic for him.
I just started reading Pokemon Special for the first time and noticed something, although it's most likely a coincidence it made me laugh. This takes place in Pokemon Tower. [http://imgur.com/FlNJ7] I've only just started the Yellow chapter so I've got no idea whether Blue/Green even meets N.

Don'tIf Blue met N, how would he break it to him that he kinda sorta killed an Arbok in that same chapter?
Emerald was no way unlikeable
In that case, neither is Yellow. And I'm serious here. Tons of things about Yellow are offputting, but at least her personality is a kind one. (As opposed to Emerald, who acts like a little bitch for half the arc.)

Exactly this, my friend. There was a great deal of stuff to like in the arc (the Frontier Brains, Todd Snap, that finale, etc) but that doesn't mean that the arc overall wasn't weak, particularly where the plot was concered. The plot was just dumb and ultimately needless except to tie up a loose end that was also needless.

Kusaka's writing has alot of ups and downs in general. It declined midway into the R/S arc, improved again by the FR/LG arc, declined again in the Emerald arc, improved again in the Diamond and Pearl/Platinum arcs, and the HG/SS arc were fine too, but then he took another decline during the current Black and White arc, and though that arc supposedly gets better as it goes along, it's still saddled with alot of the problems it started with.

Sure, I can deal with that.

I felt sorry for him too, but that doesn't make up for the times I did not like him.

I've already said, Emerald >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Yellow. That's just how I see it.
And I still say that Yellow >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Emerald as a character and as a person.
Mary Sue's aren't people.
They can be some times.
Obviously you never have seen the original Star Trek Mary Sue, then.
Watch SymphogearCan we please move on to another topic? I watch this thread, and it seems all that is ever discussed is how Yellow/Emerald are lame characters. (Or the possibility of an anime adaptation, or Green's Charmeleon, but you get the point.)
New topic: How does Dia's Mamoswine have its Dream World ability?
My theory is that Platinum paid to have it genetically engineered.
This is a sinkhole.IT DOES?! Isn't the dream world ability resistant to fire attacks? When has moo been resistent to fire attacks o_o That's awesome
Dia and his pokemon sleep alot. Okay, that has nothing to do with the Dream World but still!

From Bulbapedia:
In battle: Thick Fat gives the user heat and cold protection, therefore halving the power of Ice-type and Fire-type moves.
Moo (Jp: むー Mū) was caught by Platinum in Snowpoint City because he reminded her of Diamond. She gave Moo to him after the Veilstone City showdown with Team Galactic. He is incredibly powerful, being able to ram through walls easily. He has a Hardy Nature and the ability Thick Fat. His only known move is Blizzard.
This is a sinkhole.Expect the HGSS arc to come around in June!
Although with the scanlator's release schedule, it'll probably be the end of the year before we can finish volume 41.
I'll hit you with this thingAww, I only found out yesterday that volume 40 isn't due to be released until the end of this month... I think I'll wait before then to start the DP Pt arc.
Any specific date for "the end of the month?"
Gonna need to ask for a source before I get my hopes up.
