Zesty lets you get your equipment back as soon as you get Lailah, plus the amount of ridiculous things you can do with the right combinations is far more rewarding than minimal stat boosts.

The one thing I've found Zestiria's NG+ good for so far is stacking Invalidia. Walking around slaughtering monsters when nothing that deals less damage than your entire max HP can even touch you is nice.

... except that I have seen GAME (the European branch) slash the Graces F + Symphonia Chronicles bundle to just 20 bucks. So... unless you have a strong PC / don't own a PS 3 / have S2 or Graces already / really want the future mods, THIS is the deal to get, no contest.
(What happened to Hearts R? The Vita aisle inside GAME is awfully small and full of ultra-japanase titles, so it should not have just... vanished.)

I don't have a Vita (if I did I'd be seeking out Hearts R, sure... seems the most solid Tales since Vesperia) But I don't because LOL Vita (one thing is being sold out and another is they don't even stock it, a point it has in common with the Wii U.) and I am still hungering for Abyss 3DS (damm thing's becoming rare)
Mmm, the PS 3 version removed some Good Bad Bugs like Spell-cancel and the Earth Temple's dragon's huuuge Gald reward, so I fear the PC version will be based on that one (is the unused content still there on Chronicles?)

Since they already promised about a third of their potential costumer base the game for free, they weren't eager to invest lots of money in it and now the quality suffered.
Well this is thankfully not beyond salvation,
that the script is in plain-text, while sloppy, makes fixing it easy, anything game-breaking will be officially patched and a 60FPS patch that will fix the locked 720p will also follow.
Hopefully, you're right. I've been looking forward to a good nostalgia trip.

This is a broken game. Batman Arkham Knight was a broken port but this is insane in how much went wrong that would've been found right away if any money went into this.
Even SE's ports of old games might look ugly(which can be easily fixed by modders) but they at least aren't broken.

Hell Square Enix actually updated their FF 7 Steam port to use the PSX music which was so kind of them.
Oh yeah and I'm used to 30fps in my Symphonia now but I heard this version has bad input lag too.

To be honest, I was on the fence about buying this one... I already have plenty of other things to do in terms of games, so Symphonia can wait.

I just fixed the Contorols myself by just correcting that line in the text file.
The textfile also only contains the lines new to the PC port(literally just the string from the cofiguration window), instead of the entire script, so it is safe to assume that there are no further spelling errors that weren't already in Chronicles.
I haven't noticed any input-lag but I am a scrub in most Tales battle systems.
