Meh, everyone is going Xillia this and Xillia that these days. I still remember when the game was new and every importer said Jude's crappiness leaked all over the rest of the game. Suppose I should be thankful that Emil wasn't given such treatment. Not to mention the fact that the game felt 'rushed and incomplete' and was defined as such by Baba himself. Think they will pull another Abyss and complete it for the westerners?
By the way, a Game FAQS lurker is trying to Fusion Dance his PS 3 and Wii versions of Graces to get the latter to be in English. Best of luck, but it would have been better if the guy had the same idea what, two years ago?
(You can now rekindle the PS 3 Vesperia argument right... now)
Copying from one place is 'plagiarism'. Copying from several places, 'research'.I think I'm almost at the end, though I'm taking a loooooooooooooooong break to finish sidequests. So, something I don't get. What's with all the "Cheria didn't develop, she's boring, Strangled by the Red String blah blah blah" stuff I keep seeing on the wiki? She seems okay to me.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - Fighteerx7 Are they inside Tipo?
Umbran Climax◊Because Cheria... well, did not develop. See, the Lhant brothers went from 'stupid idealist' and 'meek scaredy boy' into 'Talk The Monster To Death Friend to All Living Things The Determinator' and 'The Stoic Jerk with a Heart of Gold'. Malik had a past with Kurt and Lorelia, Pascal had her issues with her sister, Sophie had all that being made of nanites stuff, and the Lambda hunt ordered by a jealous Emeraude but Cheria was the same from start to finish. Even Marta, her polar opposite, overcame her fangirlism and her Alice/daddy issues.
Cheria just went from Ill Girl to She's All Grown Up to Team Mom to Victorious Childhood Friend (if Mr Ending Junior is any proof of that) Jumping from one character trope to another isn't called development. (Alright, I am not bashing Cheria, but she can be resumed in two sentences: 'Don't ignore me' for Loli Cheria and 'Some day I'll propose to him...' for her adult form. Peace.)
Copying from one place is 'plagiarism'. Copying from several places, 'research'.All of the awesomes.
Also, spoilers probably.
Do you love Tiro Sforzando? I think everyone loves Tiro Sforzando.
Also, in case you didn't know, Rebirth Crusader's from Tales of Destiny

Song of the SirensDammit, Violet Scorpions, why are you like 20 levels above my party?
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - Fighteer
On behalf of the Violet Scorpions, I'll field this one:
Spite. Pure unfiltered spite.
We shall destroy you Lu. You and everything you value.
There is no escape.

One Strip! One Strip!<kicks Rob/>
Ha! Excalibur is mine! Now to finally finish these sidequests...
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerI love the fact that the sheathed sword that Asbel was swinging around as a kid and the ring he got from Richard later combine to become one of his most powerful weapons.
Pirate Sophie spamming Infinitia Soul.
WIN.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerGonna take this post to appreciate just how pretty Gaius is.
That's some pretty prettiness.
Post over.
Estimated shipping time: 2-4 weeks.Better yet: Harold Pascal combo-activating Bloodflame.
Pascal: The rumors are true. I AM awesome!
Wait, this one's even better! Demon Cheria piggybacking then using her 3rd Mystic agaisnt (insert your most hated boss here)
Cheria: Drop dead! *pause* Its hard to breathe with a hundred daggers stuck in your throat, don't you agree?
That one above should have totally been a solo victory quote. You know, story-wise the redhead is bland, but in gameplay she is more broken than Emeraude's hymen.

Copying from one place is 'plagiarism'. Copying from several places, 'research'.Gaius and Musee are the best parts of Xillia 2. Especially Musee. When I saw how she fights in the first game I was like 'She fights with her hair? And she can fly? WHY IS SHE NOT A PLAYABLE CHARACTER?'
Song of the SirensBah, Veigue was almost a complete pushover. Barely died. It helps that both Cheria and Sophie happened to be in the party, but still, too easy.
Cheria, why do you have steak weapons?
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerIsn't there a fight with Veigue, Reala and Kohaku/Amber triple teaming you?

Song of the SirensHaven't gotten there yet, but I just nuked Gloandrake to next week with Pascal, Cheria, Malik and Hubert. Ha!
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - Fighteerx3 You mean shish kabobs?
Umbran Climax◊Yup.
By the way, is there any reason Tales of Destiny and Tales of Destiny 2 are squashed on the same page? The introduction, tropes and character sheets are soft-split, but it's clunky. The sequel could very well have its own page...unless they're more interconnected than I thought.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerAbout the triple cameo: Yeees, Veigue is easy the first time... when it's four VS one. Later, if you do the arena again, you'll have to fight him solo. But why would anyone do that? No, you need to beat Amber and Reala in the Zhonecage, complete their requests then do the Master Arena. At the end the three of them await you for a more fair four VS three. Then again, if you can beat Zhonecage 9F (where Reala is the boss) you are more than able to handle them.
About Destiny: Yes again, the two games are interconected... in the same sense Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross are. You know, in the sense that the sequel pisses over the first game's heroes' work. And that we get much needed backstory about the Aether wars and the Swordians. But hey, both this and Rebirth had PSP rereleases, so they had to had amazing gameplay.
Copying from one place is 'plagiarism'. Copying from several places, 'research'.Um, well, it's unlikely I will ever play it unless some remake shows up...I just want to know if splitting the pages is feasible—they look clunky right now.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerGraces finished.
Having only seen Symphonia's and Abyss's storytelling, Graces is somewhat lacking. The story is solid enough, the characters likable, but I didn't feel it went the extra mile to do something inventive. It's rather standard.
Should I go for Lineage and Legacies next or Zhonecage?
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerL&L. It has Richard being amusing. And the Little Queen. And, more importantly, the Little Queen's theme.
EDIT: WELP

Song of the SirensZhonecage will kick your ass regardless. Might as well get some extra levels in beforehand with Lineage and Legacies. You'll get to bring all those abilities and swag you earn in it back with you to the main game as well once you've beaten it.
L&L is basically Chapter 9 of the game anyway. Might as well push forward, and it brings the game's story to a much more satisfying conclusion IMO.
Same thing. Finished Lineage and Legacies. The Fodra Queen is so challenging, and I screwed up the Dual the Sol etc. chain but somehow survived. Dunno if I can take on the Zhonecage now, now that Xillia is on the horizon.
How far will your 20 pesos go?
