I still miss the Fan, and the Red Shells. Two of my favorites~
Boss Galaga and Beetle are easy to avoid, and the latter can even be returned to sender.
Gust Bellows, I will concede, are pretty disproportionately powerful.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Got 2nd in my tournament. Ended up losing to Dedede of all people.
I also got to fight who I think is considered the best Greninja in my region twice and won both times, even winning our second set 3-0
Nice. How big was the tournament?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.As for that Mewtwo video, I get the disjointed hitbox. Some of that stuff was made to look worse than it was (of course you're not going to hit a grounded opponent with an U+Air), but the thing with the throw was inexcusable.
I figure the real problem with Mewtwo would be his floaty hugeness. Maybe if he could hover horizontally after you use his Up+B if you held it down...
The sad, REAL American dichotomyAt least 48 people.
Being light, floaty AND large should be grounds for making that character fast and strong, period.
Congrats on doing well in the tourney, Moon! I can only dream of being able to do something like that.
Good gravy, I hate a good Dedede. I went online the other day and played against some pro Dedede player. First match I was playing as Ness and, on my end, the match was 60% me just trying to avoid him, 35% getting attacked by him, 5% percent actually getting a hit on him. Then I switched to my usual For Glory character (Yoshi) and did better, only to get KO'd by a dash attack when I was this close to beating him. I proceeded to switch to For Fun after that. (Where a fun match involving me and another guy (both as Villagers) more than made up for the losses.)
EDIT: Whoops, can't math today.

"Lucian, don’t be afraid, we’ll make it through this."That adds up to 110%.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!2nd place out of 48 AND trashing other regional Greninja reps? Sounds like a good day to me!
Keep up the good work
I met the most disrespectful person ever online today.
He used his nametag to type out insulting sentences to me.
Pretty much, another one of those people who hate me for using ranging tactics as Robin and claims I'm a "runner".
What he said made me want to frikking cry...
Something around the lines of...
"BAHAHAHA"
"U RUN A LOT"
"PLEASE"
"STOP RUNNING"
"NO NOOBS"
At that point, I disconnected really quickly.
I just felt so insulted...
Worst part is, he's going to get away with this. There's nothing that can be done about this.
Do you guys think Mewtwo would be fair, better, and true to form in the Pokemon games if, by some one or combination of the following, it:
- dashed faster?
- had increased horizontal knockback (but not damage) on horizontal throws, dash attack, and midair confusion?
- could hover horizontally after jumps or Teleports, like Peach?
- had a tether recovery with its telekinetic throw?
- had the Pressure ability affect gameplay, by making an opponent's moves more quickly approach Stale Moves damage negation?
Which would be the best solution? The first three ideas intended to make his telepathy grant positive effects on him, instead of just the negative effects of his floatiness.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyI think the Pressure thing could be cool if worked in, but that might be a little difficult to do. I think Mewtwo is on the right course of being balanced and only needs minor tweaks to keep him relevant, compared to Samus who needs either a lot of tweaks or just a general revamp of how she plays.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorYeah, Mewtwo is quite a fair bit more solid than its Melee incarnation; some tweaks and it'd be perfect.
Samus needs plenty of tweaks. I still wonder how the fuck did Sakurai find her the best in the game; probably nerfed her and buffed ZSS to reach some sort of balance, that didn't quite work outside of his head.
Congrats Full Moon! Ninja frog represent.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."I know Nintendo has weird issues with playtesting. Very likely that projectile spamming was used heavily in their crowd, so Samus got a nerf as a result.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorAnd then made another character whose gimmick is "spams projectiles".
And gave it Samus's projectiles. For good measure.
I have a message from another time...I was there. Full Moon kicked so much ass.
No regret shall pass over the threshold! The funniest part was the other Greninja (Regal) saying that I "had more fame" than him.
My reaction was like "Whaaa, I have fame?"
Mine too, I have to confess
Just goes to show that newcomers don't need to fear.

No regret shall pass over the threshold!Congrats, Fullmoon.
I didn't play Samus in Melee, and preferred ZSS in Brawl, and barely touched 4, so I don't know what to suggest for buffing her while staying true to the character. Who else is notably weak still?
I edited my thoughts on Mewtwo, but I'm still really liking my suggestions.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyCongrats on your tournament victory, Moon.
I recall Project M's Mewtwo having something like that, actually.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guy
By cheap items, yeah, I meant the Gust Bellows. And the beetle, and the Boss Galaga, and the Golden Hammer. Stuff like that.
I prefer to keep Smash Balls, though, because they're fun.
