I've seen damage over 200% in a serious match only once, and it was with me and another guy playing Ness on Onett. I got to like 300% while the other guy got around 250%.

I think my peak damage in a serious damage was 217 with Greninja

I had a shortly-post-release Ryu get timed out while I spammed copied Hadokens at him all the way up to 284%.

If you see a post on the Miiverse stage featuring a very badly drawn Lucina saying "1. Why do you guys hate me? 2. Enough with the chest jokes, guys!!", it's mine.

Seriously, some of the posts I've seen on Miiverse are literally "I hate ______" or "______ sucks". Like, just simply not comment. They give you the option to not comment on Miiverse. Dark Pit, Lucina, DK, Mario, Wario, Little Mac, and Fox are characters I've seen with these types of posts. Don't waste your time spouting negativity. It's not productive in the slightest.

As for "Lucina's chest jokes"...they simply not funny. I'm like "what's the joke? Lucina's chest is flat? That's not funny at all." It's very Family Guy style "humor" (if you've seen me on the Western Animation forum, you'll know I hate modern Family Guy). With Expand Dong jokes, you can be original with them and actually are pretty funny. Lucina's chest jokes can be outright offensive if someone takes it the wrong way. (in case you're wondering how, someone can take it as "women are nothing if they have A-Cup")

Ugh, sorry for having vent my frustrations at some of the Miiverse posts I've seen.

That's just the internet being the internet. Can't really stop that.

Though, it does remind me of how I saw actual porn on the miiverse stage yesterday while playing Charizard. I'm surprised it wasn't immediately removed, let alone able to make it on stage.

At this point, I'm worried that sooner or later, some little kid's parents are gonna see a penis or porn or whatever pop up in the Miiverse stage, grab their pitchforks and torches and storm Nintendo...even though it's the fault of some ten year old kid looking for a cheap laugh.

I don't encounter any porn on Miiverse. So most of what I see on Miiverse is either a good clever joke, actual rooting for the combatants, a stupid and possibly offensive joke (especially if one of the fighters is Lucina) or a "this character sucks" post. Or something completely random most of the time.

Like, I did encounter a good Expand Dong joke ("Losing does not Expand Dong"), and a good post for Robin featuring Tharja saying "I could watch you all day, Robin. Oh wait, I do." But whenever I see a post that either makes fun of Lucina's chest, or is overall negative (like those "This character sucks" posts), I have to facepalm.

I was actually considering making a good (IMO, obviously) post for every character but then I realized I would need to do one for Ness and I HATE Ness so that idea kinda floundered.

I'll admit, I made a G-rated EXPAND gag, too.

I found myself accidentally doing three posts for Ganondorf rather than the one post I did for every other fighter I posted for because I kept thinking up good ones for him.

I believe they were "Ganondorf doesn't NEED his sword to win", "I love the Triforce of Power — it's so bad", and one based on Zelda II's "GAME OVER RETURN OF GANON" screen.

I remember doing one for Ryu that just said "you must defeat Sheng Long to stand a chance"

Fun Fact: The first post in support of DK was a very poorly written "expand".

How much bigger would the Demand Overload for amiibo be if they were as big as the trophies in the Smash universe (and they still worked for the GamePad)?

Prices tend to be directly proportional to size, so if anything buyers would decrease if they got any larger.

They'd probably end up being low in stock, high in quality, and thus high in demand from a select market.

...i can't see Nintendo doing that. It would be a very small profit.

Well, Nintendo didn't even think that amiibo would be successful.

They should've realized that while they have a big kid fanbase that like Mario and Pokemon, they also have a massive adult fanbase that would gladly buy figures of Zelda, Metroid, Star Fox, Fire Emblem, F-Zero, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Kid Icarus, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade, Earth Bound, Punch-Out, Pac Man, Mega Man, Sonic, and Street Fighter characters in addition to Mario and Pokemon characters (Wario and Yoshi are being counted in the Mario series since they only have one fighter in Smash and have a bigger presence in Mario spin offs, while Donkey Kong characters have a big presence in Mario spin offs and the Donkey Kong franchise). And Nintendo decided to market amiibo (definitely in the states) to kids, completely ignoring their adult fanbases.

The Zelda series and Sonic are doing relatively decently as far as I can tell (just picked up the latter a few days ago), and SF's hasn't even been formally released yet.

Also worth mentioning that they're doing this "limited release" thing precisely to artificially spice up demand, regardless of how much it's ceaselessly backfiring on them.
