So I just did a Smash Run and these are the results. I also picked up 3 bronze coins, 3 silver coins, and 3 gold coins. The trophy was pushed off the que (seeing it was the third thing I found) but it still showed up at the results screen.

Myth busted.

I don't know why, but for some reason I'd really like to see the fanbase create fanon personalities (and, in the first two's case, names) for the sample Miis, Brawler, Swordfighter and Sophia.

So far I've been listening to the soundtrack (or at least what's available in the 3DS version) because I can't acquire the games. I'm very impressed at the Running/Countdown music of Punchout and I don't mind the redux of Stage Select for the Pikmin stage. The only other thing I have to say is whoever decided to render the Eight Melodies in such a way that it sounds like it came out of an orchestra... to you!

Weird in a Can (updated M-F)

From what I've heard, one of the catches for using the third party characters is that the owners of said characters get to decide on their colors. Both SEGA and Namco didn't want Sonic or Pac-Man to lose their iconic colors, which is why Sonic only gets shades of blue, while Pac-Man stays yellow and only gets his gloves/arms and legs changed.

At least Sonic has a couple of accessories that reference his games (the purple scheme has Chaos Emeralds and the yellow color's accessories are supposed to resemble rings).

As a side note, I just saw Wreck It Ralph for the first time on Sunday, and feel more inclined to use Sonic, Pac-Man, and Bowser because of it.

That remix was done by Yoko Shimomura, so of course it's awesome.

I get so angry at most Mega Man and Bowser players because their fights are so uninteresting. So when I come across a legitimately skilled one, I panic. Everything goes into overdrive because I can't let this spammer, this child win.

If they get me to that point, it's because they aren't spammers at all, but I'm permanently locked into that mindset against those two.

She arranged some tracks for Brawl, too, perhaps most notably Tetris Type A.

I'd imagine you'd be more inclined to use Mario and Donkey Kong as well, because of Felix and Ralph.

Also, I'm reminded of how my little cousin saw the Pac Man lanyard I wear to work and thought it was merchandise from the movie.
