Let's see, what characters have been sized up?

Kirby (8 inches originally), Pikmin&Olimar (super-tiny), Pikachu (only 1'4'').

But I think some may have been sized down, Peach is supposed to be taller than Luigi. Samus too, she's over 6 feet tall in canon.

Rosalina for next Meta Knight

Bowser may or may not count, since his size varies from game to game for no reason whatsoever.

Bayonetta's Sega ownership wouldn't be an issue. Ninty and Sega are tight right now, and they probably want B2 to prosper as much as Nintendo does, because their continued ownership of the franchise would mean they could have Platinum build a B3 for the other 8th gen consoles.

Thing is, Unite Morphs are gigantic, and are dependent on the size of the heroes. Take Unite Sword; the smallest one is made of 20 heroes, and so will have a blade about 10 men long (or about 50 feet), on average. Or Unite Gun, whose projectiles are a single hero per bullet, so would be the size of throne holding it. Wonder Red would have to be minuscule for him to be regularly using Unite Morphs in Smash without forming Unite Hands bigger than Master Hand.

Now, as a final smash? I can see it. That or Unite Big, or Wonderful Forever.

They could always have him the size of Olimar or something and make the actual attacks the size of, say, Bowser. And adjust the hurtbox to compensate.

My idea was that maybe the Wonderful Ones could have a gimmick where the team collects heroes or something and increases the size of the attacks over time, or maybe increasing the size of the Unite Morphs to something even bigger by charging it with a neutral or down B. I was also thinking maybe they could work as a pseudo-stance character that can change weapon depending on whatever normal attack was used prior. (Standard A being the Unite Fist, U-smash being Unite Sword, grab being Unite Whip, stuff like that) Specials in that case could be Wonderful Rising for up B, Wonderful Cyclone for neutral or down B, and Wonderful Stinger for side B since those are universal techniques, with different properties for each stance.

Just throwing my ideas out there. The size thing could pose a bit of a problem, but I could see it working if they try hard enough.

Daisy's tears only turn Rosalina on.

Remember that a few stages see the party shrunk down to microscopic size. Forming relatively small Unite Morphs with hordes of teleported-in tiny Wonderful Ones might be a way to keep the game's mechanics intact within Smash Bros.' scale; with the positive of not causing much slowdown due to using low-poly models.

Bowser's size has been consistent from Galaxy onward...or technically New Super Mario Bros.(2006) onward.

And both Thousand Year Door and Bowser's Inside Story gave explanations for the times he is big. One was kinda hilarious, and the other was completely awesome.

That's about the size he is in most modern games. So Bowser is retroactively downscaled to match other character's heights.

He's actually shorter than that in Galaxy 1, 2, and 3DWorld...(until he somehow gets a lot bigger after shenanigans)

Bowser was huge in New Super Mario Bros. U but he was also small at the start I even took pictures.

It's been implied sometimes it was Kamek/Kammy's magic that makes him grow. My guess is that his natural size might be really big, where he is turned small in some games.

In the earlier NES games he's notoriously small, well before Kamek exists, however, we know he can affect him since his childhood. Yoshi's Island set up that bit.

But his size could be slightly bigger than Mario with Kamek/Kammy making him grow instead. Also, if more games are making his main size huge, that might be his natural size instead.

Hmm... maybe magic overuse causes Bowser to have an inconsistent size?

I don't know, but good points with Kamek/Kammy.

I guess we could have really miniscule Wonderful Ones. Just seems like it'd feel odd next ot other humanlike characters.

They are midget-like anyway. It would make sense from an artistic standpoint.

Smash is so non-canon to other series(should've said it like this), it means little. As long as they're easy to work with gameplay-wise, their size is irrelevant.

@NES Classic: Works for me. So who should make him grow if we see Paper Bowser in another game? Kammy or Kamek? Both exist in the Paper Mario Universe now.

You kidding? Smash is 100% canon. It's its own unique series.

Wait, was Kammy at all referenced in Sticker Star? From what I've seen, it seemed like they just had a lucky generic unceremoniously steal her role.

I'd say Kamek, since he's overall done more enchanting. Although Kammy should still be the tagalong Minion with an F in Evil.

I mean they both exist in the Paper Mario Universe as a whole.

And yeah, I don't remember seeing her there. But hey, Jr. Koopa came back before, and so on. A past character could come back anyway.

But that's getting off-topic. I want a Paper Kammy and Paper Kamek trophy as well.

I'm for that. Kamek is the real important one, Kammy is the comedy character who sucks. Maybe if Peach is playable again, she'd be her designated boss fight. Kind of like in the first Paper Mario.

Speaking of, Kammy would be a fun boss for Adventure Mode.
