It's just that you have a long face with prominent cheeks, which makes the top of your head look smaller than the bottom. It's easily fixable, if you change the emphasis.

I do need to at least trim the beard down. It's pronouncing the hourglass effect of where my head narrows at the temples (or rather, I have a prominent brow and cheekbones, but not much in between.

As usual, it was too short on top, and I look really pasty even though it was the middle of summer.
