So where is your user picture from? Care to share what pics you use on other forums? (I know we used to have a thread about this, but it seems it was lost in The Great Crash.)
My current avatar, and all my previous avatars, are from Gunnerkrigg Court. So it's probably safe to assume that all my future avatars will be from there as well.

I find this fact very irritating indeed. I had to screencap my current avatar (Behzad the funky Stallion from Creature Comforts, if you were wondering), and my first attempt didn't go so well; everyone said it looked stupid and/or like the Horse had taken meth. Thus, I, in an attempt to make amends, took the most serious face I could get out of the otherwise-rather chill claymation Horse. Problem is, I can't delete the original one now.
EDIT: Doesn't matter now, changed it again. I like to change it every now and again, but not several times every day.

I have the same issue as well. I normally create several versions of avatars just to see which one looks best to me. I delete the ones that don't look up to par.
I honestly think they should just nuke the new avatar stuff altogether it's been months and the avatar uploader and stuff attached to it are still causing irritating problems. Most of my avatars now take serious quality hits no matter what I do and that issue has been there since the start when they first changed up the site.
