Another reason Tiger Eagle Guillotine is a weird name, besides the whole using three blades and not going for decapitation points, is the fact that Guillotine's come from above.
The fact that Tara was able to continue flying in the same direction so far after striking implies she's flying parallel to the ground.

Read my stories!The "three blades" thing isn't a reason for "guillotine" to be a weird name. The most famous model of the guillotine had only the one blade, yes, but noting about the basic requirements of the device (falling straight blade, weighted, blade is angled) requires only one.
That said, one of the requirements of a proper guillotine isn't met - the blade needs to be straight. Curved blades were right out. For that matter, given that claws are only sharp at the point instead of along the edge, they're doubly disqualified from guillotine duty.
Yeah, I'm starting to think that Shive may just be bad in general at action scenes.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.We've known he's bad at action scenes for a long time. Pretty much every time a fight breaks out, the criticism increases threefold.
Tiger Eagle Guillotine is just the glaring point of criticism for this particular page of the fight. Next page, either the spider vampire will be dead or we'll be complaining about whatever the next exchange of the fight is.
Part of it's his animesque style. Calling Your Attacks is really hard to take seriously and there's a reason why many localized works choose to leave the moves untranslated; they sound prettier in gibberish words and that makes it easier to let slide. Goku wouldn't sound half as epic screaming "TURTLE DESTRUCTION WAAAAAAAAAVE!" every time he threw his signature beam.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Actually, there are variation of the guillotine where the blade is curved. Really the only qualification to be a guillotine is that it has to be some sort of blade attached to a frame that works to cut things via potential energy.

@22500 I meant foot.
Writer, or something. And... a button? 🖲️@22507 Not properly - in terms of "well, that's the Reign of Terror for you," they specifically picked a straight, angled blade for the guillotine because they found it was a faster cut. There were precursors to the guillotine, and some of those used curved blades and are mistakenly called "guillotines," but the straight blade was a requirement.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.I'm really not sure what to think of Shive's adamant refusal to show any sort of nudity while basing at least this subplot on the acceptance of it.

The secondary reason - Again, while I don’t believe the double standard should exist, every year I have spent alive has been spent in a society in which it does. I would be lying if I said that publicly sharing such drawings wouldn’t make me feel uncomfortable, even if it is mostly* irrational.
* See main reason
The Tertiary reason - Never are people more critical or nitpickish than in matters regarding things they would prefer to find sexy, and I do not desire people messaging me to let me know that I did not draw areolas to their personal satisfaction along with guidelines for how to draw them “properly”.
@Ninety12th,
I'm of the "Shit or get off the pot" mentally (Tit or get on with the plot?). Either just go for it, or don't involve a plot revolving around such things.
Same. If you're not gonna tackle the issue, don't bring up the issue in the first place. It would be like some work talking about LGBT acceptance or something yet never showing an LGBT character.

In fact, since when did any character have eyelashes?

The eyelashes show up every once in a while.
Read my stories!I think the eyelashes show up when a character is wearing makeup?
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.Going over the past couple of story comics... I have no idea what Tara actually did. Like, I know the effects of what she did - she seriously damaged him, set him on fire, then smacked him in the air to explode relatively harmlessly. But what did she actually do to make all that happen? the flow of the action was just really wonky.
I noticed that Tara's wife also spontaneously developed eyelashes. What's with the Schrodinger's Eyelashes?
Finally, as a side note, should we be expected to treat abominations seriously or not? Between this one and the French one in Susan's flashback, I'm not sure if they're supposed to be powerful or not. This guy's most impressive move was to fight Andrea to a stand-still - someone who was mostly noted to be a non-combatant and who can make her wings knife-proof. The French immortal was able to hypnotize Susan and wasn't one-shotted by Nanase (who was still new to her power at the time), but that's it. We haven't seen one actually prove themselves capable of any sort of mass damage.
I'll grant you that consuming human life force is something that makes them a danger, but if their powers are only a little beyond the human norm beyond the capability to consume life force, they seem kind of weak for antagonists, particularly where the heroes are at this point.

Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.He was already in midair from when he jumped and pulled out all the bombs. I forgot about that too.
So she slashed through him, landed on the ground, then spun around and threw a fireball back up to explode his remains.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Presumably at least some of that explosion was his bombs.
They seem to have the Superman / Magic problem where they're entirely invulnerable to conventional harm, but add a little bit of a magic into your attack descriptor and they fold.
And the bombs just followed him up after he dropped them because... ?

Also Shive I understand you have image issues and embarassment issues, but carrying them out with almost-underage ladies who you clearly have some sexual desires (pin ups and general desire to go for sexual stuff in general, as noticed by your confusion on writing an ace character) is not going to do you any favors.
