• Crossover Ship:
  • Ever since the debut of this mod, there's been a growing number of fans that like pairing Tabi with Ayana from the "Ex Girlfriend mod", as both of them are (non-canon) exes for the main characters (Tabi for Girlfriend and Ayana for Boyfriend), but have such massive differences in how they go about antagonizing the duo (Tabi tries to kill Girlfriend out of utter hatred while Ayana wants to get back with Boyfriend due to regretting letting him go) that it provides a good Opposites Attract dynamic with hints of Brooding Boy, Gentle Girl.
  • Due to the two being stated to be best friends by their mod creators, there are a few subsets of fans pairing up Tabi and A.G.O.T.I. together. That once had been strongly rejected thanks to Homskiy disassociating with the Friday Night Funkin': ENTITY mod and dropping the idea, even putting a Fan-Work Ban on it by asking for people not to draw art or anything of the sort with the two together, though this seems to have been reversed.
    • Agoti's initial revision, his currently older brother Aldryx Andromeda, is also shipped with Tabi.
  • From the same mod, Tabi's voice actor (and current owner) seems to really like pairing him with Nikusa, despite her Incompatible Orientation. Unlike the above, reception to this can be charitably described as mixed.
• Fanon:
  • Just like with Whitty, Tabi is sometimes seen having a rivalry with Tricky (specifically his The Tricky Mod incarnation). Although at times the rivalry can extend into Villainous Friendship due to Tabi being quite unhinged himself and has bombed a restaurant killing several innocent people.
  • Also due to Vs Whitty inspiring this very mod. Whitty and Tabi are either portrayed as rivals, enemies or just friends.
• Fanon Welding: Tabi and A.G.O.T.I. from the Friday Night Funkin': ENTITY mod are best friends according to their creators. After some controversies from the musician of the latter mod, Homskiy themselves had, for a time, decided to no longer have this be the case and even outright put a Fanwork Ban, requesting that nobody draw the two together. However, they seemed to have reversed this decision some time after A.G.O.T.I. was rebranded to no longer be the musician's Author Avatar, while also having A.G.O.T.I.'s later-implemented older brother Aldryx Andromeda be a close friend of his.
• Fridge Brilliance: As pointed out by a viewer on Fyrus' stream, Tabi's singing also affects the health bar since he was Girlfriend's boyfriend at some point, this also being the reason as to why Tabi's recovery is so little.
• Fridge Logic: Tabi's bombing attempt to kill Boyfriend and Girlfriend, as well as himself was destined to fail from the start, considering Girlfriend is an extremely powerful demon. How that didn't kill Boyfriend however is another discussion topic.
• Harsher in Hindsight: The very meme of Tabi posting NSFW in #general can be a lot more painful than realised when you realise his current owner, Cougar MacDowall Va, sometimes post highly unethical comical dubs on his YouTube channel & ends up canceling the mod due to not giving the ownership back to Homisky.
• Jerkass Woobie: Tabi. He ended up losing everything he had as a result of simply dating Girlfriend thanks to Daddy Dearest, with Girlfriend being revealed to have manipulated Tabi while they were dating, and is understandably upset at both of them because of it.
• Memetic Mutation:
  • Fuck Daddy Dearest, all my homies hate him. ^ExplanationA popular Fanon idea is that DD is a Complete Monster who has relentlessly screwed over countless amounts of people and as a result these people's lives are utterly ruined by him and they either resent him or plan to seek vengeance. Several of the popular mods feature characters like these and fans like to make them friends or a squad based on their mutual hatred. The gang consists of Whitty, Garcello, A.G.O.T.I., and Tabi. It helps that the creators of the Tabi and A.G.O.T.I. mods have both confirmed that the two are canonically best friends (well, at first).
  • (Russian) Dry Bones ^ExplanationAs Tabi bears a resemblance to the Super Mario Bros. enemy, many jokes have been made about him being a Russian Dry Bones in a hoodie and that GF dated a Dry Bones.
  • Tabi = Lewis ^ExplanationAnother popular comparison is Tabi to Lewis from the Mystery Skulls Animated music videos. They share similar appearances and backstories where they are both skeletal humanoids who previously were in a relationship with the lead female character and were both screwed over and unwillingly transformed into the form they share now. Oh, and they're both also very vengeful and wrathful.
  • Gaster Blaster ^ExplanationYet another comparison is that Tabi's head resembles Sans' Gaster Blasters from Undertale. He is referred to as a "Gaster Blaster gone rogue" or one that grew arms and legs and started a rapping career.
  • Tabi singing Guns/Tabi ascending forces Boyfriend to see the light. ^ExplanationShortly after the update that gave Tabi the ability to push back with notes as well as time in Genocide, a trend started where people would have various characters, canon and modded alike, "sing" each-others' songs, after it was learned how to recreate all the sound-fonts, mostly by the aide of Youtuber Blantados. In this specific case, it was found that having Tabi sing Guns while in Genocide-mode made the "ascending" part able to nearly force Boyfriend to fail just by the sheer length of it, with Boyfriend absolutely needing to be at 150% health to survive.
  • The Russian bois ^ExplanationAs Ruv from the Mid-Fight Masses and Tabi both happen to be Russian, fans like to pair the two as best friends and indulging in Russian shenanigans together.
  • Tabi posts NSFW in #general ^ExplanationWhat originally started as a sentence-mixed phrase eventually got dubbed by Tabi's voice actor and was what lead to this animation. It's even referenced in the trailer for the upcoming Love Week update.
• Moral Event Horizon: Tabi's willing to set off hidden explosives in an attempt to kill off Girlfriend, and ends up nearly killing her, Boyfriend, and himself as well. Granted, he did state in the remaster that he took measures to avoid killing any innocent bystanders, but still.
• Popular with Furries: It is the goat Skull for a Head.
• Recurring Fanon Character: Tabi is a rather popular fan character, thanks to not only the mod he came from being enjoyable and having amazing songs, but also because of his interesting backstory that gives an interesting case of Adaptational Villainy to Girlfriend and delves into how villainous Daddy Dearest is.
