YMMV / Regular Show: The Movie

• Captain Obvious Reveal: The fact that Rigby either forged the acceptance and rejection letters or switched his with Mordecai's, since not only has the show already used a similar plot device in the past but even alludes to how weird it is Rigby got accepted into college but Mordecai didn't.
• Moral Event Horizon: Ross making use of the Timenado to wipe out most of Earth's timeline, all over Rigby ruining his volleyball state championship game.
• Never Live It Down: Despite feeling extremely remorseful over it and being forgiven by Mordecai at the end of the film, some fans will never forgive Rigby for forging Mordecai's college acceptance letter.
• Strawman Has a Point: Mordecai calling out Rigby is sad, but he is not wrong in his assessment of Rigby during their argument near the end. Almost everything Rigby has ever done in both the movie and the show is something that ends up biting them both back. It's not just that without Rigby he would have went to college, he'd never have to work at the park in the first place, let alone putting up with Benson's temper nearly as much. He wouldn't have to put up with nearly so much trouble in his life if it weren't for Rigby, regardless if he were his best friend or not.
• The Woobie: Rigby, throughout the film, is shown in fear of losing his only friend, Mordecai, once he is revealed to have forged his college application that prevented Mordecai from going to college and feels legitimate guilt for it. Once Mordecai realizes the truth, Rigby tries to obliterate himself in the sun as he feels horrible for what he did to Mordecai.
