Pops is shown in the future despite getting Killed Off for Real in the finale. However, since the Bad Future is averted thanks to Rigby and the gang finally managed to defeat the Timenado, the future Pops from this film no longer exists.
Future Rigby's final exchange with Future Mordecai ("Push that button and I will shoot you." "Hey Mordecai. Go ahead!") takes on a far darker and tragic with what happens later in the movie. At the time, Future Rigby had just discovered that Mordecai found out about the forged rejection letter. And considering that Present Rigby was ready to fly himself into the sun when Moredai found out, it's very likely that Future Rigby wantedto take that shot.
