"…I'd take work at a lame job at a park with my best friend, any day."

  • Rigby's genuine apology to Mordecai at the climax, and fully taking responsibility for the first time that his selfish actions, while understandable, not only caused time itself to be nearly destroyed, but also robbed Mordecai of his chance at a successful future. Mordecai forgives Rigby, finally coming to terms that not everything that goes wrong is Rigby's fault, as he is not perfect himself. After returning to the present following their adventure and all of time returning to normal, they vow to never let their friendship deteriorate to the point where they kill each other with lasers.
  • Rigby performing a Heroic Sacrifice to destroy the Timenado. The Park gang were ready to leave him to his fate, but Mordecai refuses to let him die alone, while claiming that he also wants to have a bronze statue of him erected at the Park too. It goes to show that their friendship can weather any storm, no matter how terrible.
  • Father Time sheltering an unconscious Rigby following his failed suicide attempt, offering him advice to apologize to Mordecai for his actions in order to reconcile (even spelling it out to him when Rigby failed to get the obvious), and refilling his ship with gas so he can join up with the Intergalactic Park Rangers and save the future, while joking that it would cost $50,000, which Rigby can't afford.
Father Time: (literally falling to pieces as time is on the verge of being erased) I'm not long for this existence, but at least I won't leave here with any regrets. How 'bout you?
  • Past Rigby apologizing to Mr. Ross for ruining his volleyball state championship game, thus averting the Bad Future. Although he is being arrested, the fact that Ross was willing to buy burgers when all is said and done shows that there is no more (one-sided) bad blood between them.
  • In their high school days, the Paparelli's owner warmly greeting Mordecai and Rigby as his "two favorite worst customers who never buy anything", and offering them a slice of pizza each. He explains his liking towards them reminds him of his past friendship with his buddy Ricky before events irreparably drove them apart. It's small, but it's nice to see someone act as a father figure towards the two and hoping that they stay out of trouble.
  • While it's always sad to see Pops so sad, his main reason of concern isn't so much for the universe and all of time about to be destroyed, but more about Mordecai and Rigby's broken friendship in the future, showing how much he cares for the duo. Even Muscle Man can't make a joke about it per usual, proving how much he values his friendships, primarily with Hi Five Ghost.
