  • Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The rhyming puzzle with 4Moolah comes out of nowhere and doesn't have anything to do with the game's plot (although you can find him in EX along with most of the other characters from the game).
  • Fridge Logic: Choose the vegan diet option, there's still sour milk in your fridge for some reason. Literal fridge logic.
  • Heartwarming Moments: When at your apartment, you can perform the use action on Turing. Doing so lets you give them a hug.
  • Narm: The credits song, "Love Me Better", is adorned with cheesy lyrics about love and friendship.
    • Narm Charm: Most fans agree that the song is cheesy, but that it's cute, too.
  • Popular with Furries: Clearly aims for it. Even disregarding the appeal of Hybrids, the only Optional Sexual Encounter is with Crow, a bipedal lion who is fully voiced despite the character not appearing anywhere else in the game.
  • Player Punch: Hayden's death, and Turing's subsequent reaction to it. And if not that, the death of Charlie Nova, one of the most genuinely friendly characters you encounter on your investigation.
  • Tear Jerker: Finding out that Hayden has died, and Turing's initial disbelief.
    • If you fail to save Turing from their seizure near the climax, they die.
Narrator: TOMCAT hasn't said a word to you since you parted ways. You sit around waiting for their call, but you know TOMCAT blames themselves for what happened. Turing may be gone forever and you miss them terribly already.
    • Leon Dekker gets one in 2064. His name was Wilson Dekker, and he had a wife and daughter, and the experience of being an android left him deprived of being able to fully experience things, such as smelling his mother's pie, his favorite, and getting only a chemical formula. He says he misses his wife, and asks about his daughter as he dies.
  • That One Boss: Leon Dekker's puzzle is unpredictable, and it's nigh impossible to tell when and how he will move. You'll probably end up getting killed at least once trying to avoid him.
  • That One Achievement: Iron ROM, which requires you to complete the game without saving or retrying. Disregarding the game crashing (which happens distressingly often on the Vita version), the tail end of the game has by far the hardest puzzle in the game and one of the few that you can fail. This will almost certainly happen if you don't have a solid grasp on how it works, since it's random each time.
  • Unfortunate Character Design: Despite the game's very LGBT+ friendly image, Sympathy looks like she was designed by someone who is very anti-LGBT+, being a woman with very prominent facial hair and isn't even a Hybrid in a lazy attempt to justify it. For those unaware, this is commonly used to mock trans women by saying they're just men in womens' clothing and portraying them with significant facial/body hair, which can make it very hard to look at Sympathy without being reminded of that.
