• Angst? What Angst?: Word of God is that he hates angst with a burning passion. Which is why both times Ichigo has begun to succumb to the fact that he's technically a soul-eating monster, someone has punched him in the face.
• Fridge Horror: Senna's misconception of what Ichigo and the Vizard want with her is pretty funny. Then you realize that as the Memory Rosary, she probably has memories of exactly that happening to her.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Shawlong trying to take on Unohana became this after Unohana's status as the First Kenpachi was revealed in canon.
• Ho Yay: Some of Ulquiorra's dialogue can seem like this towards Ichigo.
