  • Awesome Music: The Main Theme and the End Splash Theme by Furry Fandom Musician Fox Amoore.
    • Then there's the ending credits theme and the songs played during both True and Neutral Endings.
    • And a decent amount of the game's music is pretty awesome at times too, such as The Ark's theme...despite everything except the vocal songs and Amoore's music being stock RPG Maker tracks.
  • Cry for the Devil: Nagi attempts to invoke this on The Player during the finale when he explains his viewpoint of things.
  • Jerkass Woobie:
    • Rook is a textbook example. Sure, he acts like a condescending smartass who often insults others using Brutal Honesty but the scene where he breaks down crying over the real reason he's so addicted to his tablet will make you wish there was a third "hug Rook" option button to click, even if he threatens to end you if the truth comes out. Later on, he's pushed even deeper into Woobie territory when he gets psychologically tortured and nearly killed by a bomb.
    • Kila AKA Eddie is an interesting case. Sure, he acts like a Nice Guy when you first meet him but he's actually, impersonating his dead brother and blaming you for his brother's suicide. As messed up as that is, keep in mind that he cried for hours over his twin's death and was deeply upset over it. That being said, Eddie's an interesting hybrid of a Jerkass Woobie and a Bitch in Sheep's Clothing.
    • Shock also qualifies as he lost not only Klace but Rocker as well.
  • Moe: Inumi is this to a lot of fans.
  • That One Achievement: "Lost Potential", which is said to be acquired only by playing through the entire game and getting Reiyo to open up to you in Chapter 9...without saving or loading any games.
    • Any given locked achievement could turn into this potentially, as on Steam locked achievements don't have their name or description readable until you actually earn the achievement. Guide Dang It, indeed!
  • They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character:
    • Eclair, mostly due to the fact that the Golden Ending requires you to completely avoid her subplot - she's actually the only character you will never see at all if you're getting all the true ending flags. In the true ending it's not confirmed that Rook actually made up with Eclair at all, which itself makes him seem like more of a jerk than he should be since his scene where he throws away his tablet would imply that he still abandoned Cafe Chat in the new reality.
    • Dazz, also. It could have been interesting to see how her character would play out, trying to cope with stress when Singe puts her in the spotlight within a day of one of her closest friends being murdered, but she only appears in a small handful of cutscenes and the player doesn't even get to directly interact with her.
    • Many of the characters from Terra don't see as much character development as the ones from Earth do, nor are many of their backstories revealed.
  • Underused Game Mechanic: The Affection System. It seems to do little more than enable characters to open up to you about their backstory if your bond is strong enough with them.
    • Also, the texting feature. It's prominently advertised on the Steam listing for the game, but it's used only a small handful of times. Weirdly enough, you'll get contact information from other characters, but still never use it at all since you're only ever going to receive texts.
  • Viewer Gender Confusion: Caylen looks very effeminate, between his pink hair, similarly colored collar, and androgynous body shape, but none of the characters mistake him for a girl, always using male pronouns when referring to him.
