• Ho Yay: Chainey and Davey, and more recently Owen and PJ. It helps that Kris and Jess semi-jokingly ship them.
• Jerkass Woobie: Lazaro, for quite a few people. Owen may or may not be getting this treatment due to his implied tragic back-story.
• Moral Event Horizon: Lazaro using Parker in chapter 12 as bait to capture Owen could be seen as this, especially since he appears to be willing to execute him if Owen does not show up in time
  • Carville's actions in the same chapter, particularly when he refers to Owen as a girl. (For context, Word of God says that he is transgender)
• What Could Have Been: Jess was going to make Chainey's personality more like Owen's, but after Davey came around, Jess made him more into the calmer Straight Man we know him as today!
