• Catharsis Factor: Dario Dusk's death. After his centuries of cruelty, feeding on innocents, abusing and raping Lilian, and abusing Zeffer once he joins him, Zeffer, who originally only joined him trying to kill Lilian to cure his vampirism, instead kills him, but not before telling him exactly what a monstrous degenerate he is, and then force feeds Lilian his heart to cure her.
• Fan Nickname: Many fans have taken to calling Dario Dusk Dorito Dusk, Diarrhea Dusk, or another degrading nickname to show their contempt for him.
• Memetic Badass: Prince Jaq Yerim-Mor is affectionately called a "gigachad" by both fans and Greys, who has joked about "his chad energy destroying all virgins in a 100 ft radius", due to him having a much more muscular physique than the average goblin, being one of the setting's very few royals who aren't evil or otherwise awful people, and for being born a girl, but having been turned into a man by his father to protect him from skorpius.
• Nausea Fuel:
  • In "Dirty Animal", Itchy, after not washing himself for ages, takes revenge on the Kelvingyard slavers who captured Ginger by humping their roast meat and rubbing his crotch and tail on it, knowing they'll get sick from eating it.
  • Any time Mr. Ocean's fungal infection is described in detail, such as in "Fungicide", where Dr. Che performs surgery on him and sees that his organs are infested with tiny green mushrooms.
    Nurse Tojum: It’s horrible! Closes him! Burns him!
    • "Fungicide" in general is full of this. It also features descriptions of Mr. Ocean's greenlite-infested extrement, a scene where he vomits all over his quarantine room from a faulty medicine, and gets a massive rash on his back from another.
  • Jeimos spending much of the first half of "Resistance is Futile" in a diving suit covered with vomit and urine on the inside.
• Squick: Everything about Lilian and Dario's relationship. Dario is essentially Lilian's adoptive father, yet uses her as a sexual bait for his victims and rapes her himself when he feels like it. Lilian in turn is so conditioned by his abuse that she believes that he only loves her and that it's her fault whenever he abuses her. And then there's his extremely creepy behavior towards Zeffer when he briefly joins his clan in an attempt to kill him and Lilian, and eventually Dario "rewards" Zeffer for his work by chaining Lilian to a bed and forcing him to go on her while he watches.
• Ugly Cute: Despite being a kobold with lumpy skin and a misshapen face, Tojum looks rather cute in her dress.
• The Woobie: Many of the characters have sad backstories, but Lilian takes the cake. First she was orphaned at age six and abused by her aunt, so she ran away and nearly died, but was found and taken in by the Dusk vampires, who kept her isolated from the outside world and not allowed to ask questions. The Dusks then used her as a sexual bait for their victims, starting when she was only ten. They didn't allow her to go out during the day despite her growing sick without the sun, and Mystique burned her eyes with pyre dust when she caught her trying to get some sunlight. Dario would sexually assault her and then beat her for "tempting" him. Then they turned her into a vampire against her will. Eventually Bigbad kills most of the clan, leaving her alone with Dario, who just doubles down on the abuse and rape and even forces Zeffer to rape her to "reward" him when he joins them trying to kill them. And she's so conditioned by her life with Dario that she genuinely loves him and believes he only wants the best for her. Even after Dario dies and she's cured of her vampirism and free in Drifter's Hollow, she just feels she's now useless and even tries to kill herself.
