• Accidental Aesop: The episode "WORST PRANK Ever Played On Me!!" ultimately shows why nepotism is unhelpful in finding work and why you still need to work hard for what you want, even if you have a natural talent, because you need to develop the necessary character qualities to accept that life isn't fair and that you won't always get what you want. Medusa's students were only successful because their teacher played favorites and always chose them to perform on stage. But when a different teacher was picked to lead the play, they were quickly forced to work backstage because none of them learned how to sing well enough for the play and it was also revealed that none of them knew how to use theatre technology because Medusa kept choosing them for acting roles. As a result, these students never truly worked for their roles in theatre and could not accept their backstage jobs gracefully, causing them to lash out by creating on-set pranks that could have ruined the play for everyone else.
• Awesome Ego: Whenever she's on stage, Rebecca ditches all sense of modesty and becomes a complete show-off who loves making herself the center of attention, but she does it with so much passion that it's hard not to be awestruck by her performances, especially since she's very humble in her downtime.
• Awesome Moments:
  • Rebecca finally gathering her courage to leave Medusa's classes and cut ties from her toxic influences. It helps that allegorically, we see a peasant!Rebecca holding "Queen" Medusa's cape before throwing it over Medusa's head in frustation.
    • Also, Rebecca being the bigger person by showing no ill will towards Medusa years later, even recognizing that her previous experience with Medusa unwittingly prepared her for her murderous college teacher E.
  • The "Almost Run over by a Car" video ends with 'Broom-stache' being pulled over for what we can presume to be speeding not long after he nearly runs over Rebecca.
  • In "Bitten While Defending A Friend", Millie steals Greg's personal journal and starts reading it in the girl's locker room, knowing full well Greg can't run in to stop her. Rebecca, recognizing how wrong this is^note given a troubled kid like Greg would have written some pretty dark content in there, and was in danger of being spilled out, she takes a stand! Yes it resulted in getting bitten by Millie (and she did get demerits for her troubles), but it doesn't change that she did the right thing. Afterwards, Millie never bothers either her or Greg again.
    • Heck, Rebecca's mother gets one for confronting the unfair middle school principal when she learns Rebecca was unfairly punished for the "crime" of standing up to Millie and getting bitten for her troubles.

• Crosses the Line Twice:
  • Rebecca being flipped over on a porch swing and smashing her mouth in? Not funny. Framing it as a Slow-Motion Fall while "Ave Maria" blares in the background? Okay, now it's funny.
  • In "My Grievances with Medieval Times (the dinner show)", Rebecca explains how both Egypt and Britain used to have queens, pushing "too soon" on the latter as far as possible.
    Rebecca: They had a queen, and they had a queen! (Smash Cut to Rebecca playing cards with Egypt and Britain) But I don't got any queens, so go fish!
• Ensemble Dark Horse:
  • Rebecca's crazy theatre teacher, Medusa, despite being a Manipulative Bitch of the highest caliber, grew to be prime Love to Hate material amongst the fandom, with any videos surrounding her being considered some of the most entertaining content Rebecca has put out.
  • The comments section on "My Teacher Murdered Someone" shows a very vocal love for Rebecca's college friend, Mary, noting that Rebecca had a high probability of being murdered by E, had it not been for Mary being a witness to their conversation. Some fans went so far as to call her the real hero of the story.
  • The titular crotchety storage lady and Fifi are popular characters for not only providing Rebecca's mom A Day in the Limelight, but also for providing hilarious Seinfeldian Conversations on the levels of Roz.
  • Henry the Tooth Fairy from "My Terrible Mouth Accident" quickly became a One-Scene Wonder thanks to how much Refuge in Audacity he provided with his Genre Savviness in knowing that the characters in Rebecca's videos have no mouths. His hilarious performance from Eddie Bowley certainly helped his reputation among fans.
  • Greg from "Bitten While Defending A Friend" garnered a lot of sympathy from viewers for being Not Evil, Just Misunderstood with a Dark and Troubled Past, and rose to being a fan-favorite for showing how far Rebecca was willing to go to prevent Milly from making him cross the Despair Event Horizon.
  • The street performer playing Ready Freddy Fiddlesticks in "Disney Street Performers Pick On Me AGAIN!" garnered a lot of love for his accurate animation representation, his flirtatious attitude towards Rebecca, and his absolute flattery in being drawn by her which he was happy to autograph for her in return.
• Love to Hate: Even though Medusa was a Manipulative Bitch who led Rebecca on for 4 whole years, the fact that her villainy is exaggerated in Rebecca's videos, she had the guts to shamelessly piss off Rebecca's mother, Rebecca is still willing to humor her insane "headspace theory", and karma managed to catch up with her and get her fired has made Medusa a fan-favorite for just how much of a lunatic she is. It also helps that, unlike E, she never murdered anyone.
• Memetic Mutation: An old animation of Rebecca's went viral for... well, reasons you can see for yourself.
  "You can't just give me the words 'big caboose' and expect me to do nothing!"
• Moe: Much of the characters, especially Rebecca herself, due to how she animates them with no mouth. It comes off as rather adorable.
• Self-Fanservice: There are a few fanarts that depict Rebecca in a more.... sexual manner, to say the least.
• Tear Jerker:
  • Rebecca still feeling guilty years after she accidentally hurt her younger brother.
  • There's something sad about seeing high school!Rebecca endure four years of being psychologically manipulated by Medusa.
  • In "Bitten While Defending A Friend", young Rebecca being punished merely for standing up to the bully Millie, a realistic and sadly familiar consequence of the Zero Tolerance Policy.
  • Her "Draw My Life" video has two instances of this:
    • Failing computer animation class during her sophomore year of college, which ended up getting her kicked out of the major entirely. It certainly didn't help that Rebecca had been dealing with the death of her grandmother prior to the start of the school year.
    • The increasing anxiety and stress she experienced as a result of "Post-Ringling Depression"^note a common feeling among Ringling College students when they feel they haven't lived up to the school's standards after graduating, culminating with the untimely death of her father from a heart attack in November 2014. Fortunately, she goes on to explain that if anything, the tragedy helped her release all of the pent-up emotion she had been experiencing.
• The Woobie: Rebecca's childhood experiences of being bullied and struggling with self-esteem and anxiety problems make her this.
