- Memetic Badass: In the World Club Magazine comics, Docs from Rock Raiders is depicted as big and burly with a mustache. Needless to say, this led to a serious of Gag Dubs where Docs's dialogue is replaced by Testosterone Poisoning comparable to that of Saxton Hale.
- The Scrappy: Tim, due to his Non-Standard Character Design, gets a lot of disdain.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: With Tim meeting the Adventurers twice in the World Club Magazine comics, many were hoping that there would be some continuity established, with Professor Articus referencing the last time he met Tim or referring to Dr. Cyber. Instead, we got a Continuity Snarl where Professor Articus is renamed Professor Titus, all relationships to Dr. Cyber are dropped, and neither Titus nor Tim show any indication of recognizing each other. Since the comics depict the LEGO Universe as The Multiverse, this may be Hand Waved as an Alternate Universe, but it's still disappointing that they wasted an easy opportunity to connect the later comics with the earlier comics.
- Unintentional Uncanny Valley: Tim's nose and cartoony eyes make him look very strange compared to most other LEGO minifigures. It's even worse in this commercial
, where it's blended with CG and a high-pitched voice.
