  • Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: Flo gets turned into a four-armed goddess in the first game's final resturant. Not only is she back to her normal human form by Restaurant Rescue, but her goddess form is never brought up in any of the following games at all.
  • Demonic Spiders: While not technically enemies, there are customer types across the series which will definitely give you a hard time.
    • The Cellphone Addicts introduced in Restaurant Rescue are the earliest example. Their constant talking causes them to decrease the patience of most other customers seated around them, and to make things worse, their own patience drains very fast. Their Teen variants from Hometown Hero are at least more patient, and their effect can be nullified by seating their Girl and Boy versions next to each other.
    • Be careful when placing a Lawyer in Boom!, as they cannot sit with another nearby table of Lawyers or else they will argue, causing other customers to lose their hearts. God help you if you are low on empty tables or don't have a Librarian to keep them down.
  • Fanon:
    • A lot of people headcanon Flo's first name as being short for "Florida".
    • There's also a small headcanon in which Flo still has her goddess powers from the first game, but is simply a God in Human Form from the second game onwards, something that is stated in this Tumblr post.
  • Goddamned Bats:
    • The Hungry Men that first appear in Hometown Hero take two orders instead of one and have low tips, making them the slowest customer type in the series, which can get rather annoying after a while since their introduction.
    • Similarly to the Cellphone Addicts, the Cavemen in Flo Through Time have a low patience of their own and make noise that drains other customers' patience, though they're also pretty fast eaters and leave in no time if attended quickly.
  • Les Yay: Quinn and Flo. You can even make them play lovers in Soap Opera Dash!
  • That One Level: In Hometown Hero, any level that has Flo compete against other waiters. Not only it is an Unexpected Gameplay Change, but it also can be luck-based depending on the other waiter's AI and placement of customers, as you must exceed their score at the end, and with both characters matching each other's speed, it's an equal round.
  • Unexpected Character: Cooking Dash 2016: Was anyone expecting a crossover with Gordon Ramsay of all people?
