YMMV / Cimorelli

Go To

  • Award Snub: Twice. 1st during their 1st nomination at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards (lost out to Sophia Grace and Rosie), then at the 1st Radio Disney Music Awards (lost out to Austin Mahone). They did win at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards though, but it wasn't much of a shock because they do have the most YouTube subscribers of all the nominees.
  • Fan Community Nickname: The CimFam (Shorthand for Cimorelli Family).
  • Friendly Fandoms: With other current girl groups.
  • Germans Love David Hasselhoff: Although they have many fans in their home country, they are also popular in Germany, Brazil and The Philippines (Which oddly enough is the 1st Asian country they performed on), among other countries the group mentions every now and then.
  • Heartwarming Moments: Whenever they perform live, this happens. Even moreso when performing "You're Worth It" live, when they always sing to the nearest person they can sing to and even hold the audiences' hands.
  • Similarly Named Works: They have a song named "Wings", but it's not the same as the similarly titled song by Little Mix.
    • Same with "You're Worth It". Not the same as Fifth Harmony's, even if it's missing the "You're" on the latter.
    • From their first album, the track "Brave Heart". No, this one don't involve Digivoulution but leans more on a Christian Gospel slant.
  • Signature Song: "Made in America,", "You're Worth It", "Hearts on Fire" (from their mixtape).
  • Tear Jerker: "Good Enough". Both the song and MV of this fit the trope, and even moreso if you know the reason for the story behind it: Christina got the idea for the song from a real-life story told to her by a girl (whom Christina babysat) whose father left her mother. Lisa then helped make the song.
  • What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids?: The group sometimes dips to this trope with a bit of Bowdlerization applied. Some of the songs they cover are sometimes inappropriate but since they cover songs popular at the moment, all they just do is change some words; one example being their take on Meghan Trainor's "Lips are Movin'" (changing Trainor's "You give me bass" to the sisters' own "You give me love"). Another would be their take on Justin Bieber's "Sorry" ("Missing more than just your body" is now "Missing more than just your memory", which still rhymes).
