- Awesome Ego: Playdoh is pretty arrogant and full of himself, but has become a fan favorite nonetheless.
- Creepy Cute: Daddy Long Legs juxtaposes the two well, with his beady eyes and long legs managing to pull off both unsettling and endearing.
- Tear Jerker:
- Team Namey's situation is this. It had never been able to talk before, but when it's finally able to, it accidentally runs itself into the ground and ends up in the caves below the arena. This is ultimately ignored by the other contestants, too.
- Hanger being trapped in the cave is pretty sad. Her tiny little "I didn't want to be down here alone..." is heartbreaking.
- The Woobie:
- Record, due to her Shrinking Violet nature. She's just so anxious and dejected in episode one before she starts warming up to Tissues.
- Hanger. Though her mistreatment is usually Played for Laughs, it gets pretty bad. One Running Gag in episode one is just them killing her over and over.
