• Base-Breaking Character: Only the Prologue is out, yet Kazuya Makishima is already getting some contention, for perhaps not so surprising reasons. His Jerkass nature and seemingly serving a role as an antagonist either makes him interesting and someone you want to see more of and how he affects the plot and characters, or just insufferable. His arrogance is seen by some as Awesome Ego, considering he seems to have the skills to back up his pride, or just deeply annoying and laughable considering he thinks he has a chance against Daigo, uses ridiculous insults, and is the Ultimate Golfer of all talents, making him come across as an overconfident Edgelord who’s difficult to take seriously to many.

  • Yukio practices social distancing. ^Explanation  His first scene involved him yelling at Hiroto for not washing his hands. The prologue was released during the Covid-19 pandemic so some viewers started to joke that the pastry chef respected the rules of social distancing and clean hygiene.
