  • Awesome Moments:
    • Grizwald is a seemingly crazy conspiracy theorist who wears a Tinfoil Hat and lives in an empty arcade building, except he is completely right on every single occasion (yes, even about tinfoil hats protecting from psychic attacks). He has an incredible wealth of knowledge and he can get in and out of very well-defended places with ease. Despite working alone and having no powers or special abilities, he manages to save a kidnapped reporter right from under Shirai's nose.
Grizwald: 'Cuz ol' Grizwald... is just that. damn. good.
    • When Caius starts to doubt whther their team can succeed, considering how powerful their enemies are, Michelle tells him that someone grew flowers on Mars. If someone managed to achieve a seemingly-impossible deed like this, then so could they.
    • When Nil attempts to bargain with Macland, he flips it off with a truly epic rant.
"Y'know what, forget it. This stuff's over my head and I don't know what you're on about. What I do know, Nil, is two things: I'm done being played, and whatever it is you're acting like I need you for, that crazy nurse can probably do without you. You've done a lot of spilling, but between this and all that time we spent buddying up when I was comatose, the one thing you've made ABUNDANTLY clear is that you're scared of the red. Full blown, absolutely fucking SHOOK, and I think you wanting to save Caius isn't just about getting my body. I think you're trying to earn that chick's favor or whatever, just in the most fucked up, stupid way imaginable. You don't get people—if you did, you wouldn't admit to wanting to undo thought. Fuck you, Nil."
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: While all the characters are well loved, a few stand out characters stand out:
    • Baby Red due to how adorable they are.
    • The Library has quite a few fans due to its personality and how it helps Jane.
    • While not as loved as the above, the Tradesmen are liked for how professional and well-mannered they are.
  • Heartwarming Moments:
    • The reason our protagonist has her powers is because her mother was an Eldritch Abomination who fell in love with a human. She chose to take human form knowing it would make her mortal and vulnerable, because she loved her family.
Jane's red: She could have lived forever. She could have wandered the stars for the rest of eternity... but she didn't want to abandon us. She wanted to be with us as long as she could. She gave up forever for us.
    • Mother's red is a creepy alien thing that holds a fragment of her mind. It looks like skin with massive teeth stretched over a wall inside a room full of Meat Moss. However, it's still a fragment of Jane's mother and it loves her deeply, doing everything it can to help Jane, even if it can't quite understand her.
Mom's red: Human emotions are still a complex maze for me. I do not have the layers of them your mother possessed. I desire for you to become happier, but I do not know what words to say, nor what actions to take, to accomplish that.
    • Jane's own red first appears in a similar creepy shape, asking her which of her friends she would prefer to kill. But when Jane finds out that the red is a part of her, she realizes that it's actually terrified of losing her friends and just doesn't know how to cope with it. Jane accept her red and gives it a hug.
    • Jane's Cuddle Bug nature is adorable. She hugs everyone she cares about, including robots, ghosts, meat monsters, fragments of eldritch aliens, and a living library.
    • Michelle sums up quite nicely why their team manages to win, no matter how powerful their enemies are.
Michelle: Our greatest strength is that we care.
  • Memetic Mutation: "vent hermit"note
  • Moe:
    • Jane is kind, caring, and loves to give everyone hugs.
    • Tesla is a small, ghost child, who, after being given a blanket, put it over her head. She answers by shaking her head or nodding while the blanket is still on her.
