• Crack Pairing: XwardxShrigul. Nobody saw it coming, but it works.
• Demonic Spiders: Zeren mooks, although they have become more reasonable as the journey has progressed.
• Fetish Retardant: There is 100% definitely a giant spider. Some people may not find that arousing. There is also the fact that both Cordyceps' host and female spiders have known tendencies to try to eat their sexual partners.
• Genius Bonus: While they were still trapped in Petrichor, the Enigma only communicated in Atbash.
• Tear Jerker: Jack, the pumpkin-headed creature who's basically a child, gets his arm ripped off in a battle with Megathulu (even worse than regular Cthulhu). Before he passes out due to pain and blood loss, he manages to get a love letter sent to his crush, and he loses consciousness thinking that at least some good came out of the whole thing.
  • Even more heartbreaking when you realize that his crush is The Fanfic Demon, of all people/places/things. And she only showed up to the battle because of her interest in Dr. Curious's genitals, and told Jack he needed to do three tasks in her honor before they could go out.
  • When someone goes up to his bedside while he's unconscious and recuperating and tells him that "she said no". He clearly processes the information subconsciously. They had to do this so Jack would create blue Ichor, an ingredient in an Ichor healing potion. He could have died from his wounds otherwise.
  • The Enigma killing a small creature that Weaver bonded with rather quickly, and it's implied she had been hunting it before, for seemingly no reason other than Spite, due to having its abilities already.
