• Alternate Character Interpretation:
  • Is Yuiji a Understanding Boyfriend to Minato (and his lack of knowledge about human life), or is his affection coming from being forced to rely on the one person who isn't going to outright rape him?
  • Is Dr. Gwen The Sociopath? Or a genuinely tragic villain whose backstory shows her to have had all true compassion destroyed over time?
  • How well do the dinosauroids in general understand that rape is a horrific crime? Is the violence Yuiji gets shown usually a result of regular sexism stemming from Gender Rarity Value and something all fertile females put up with, or is it mostly due to his human status?
    • Did Minato truly understand why Yuiji was hurt by rape before witnessing his gang-rape, and his is resulting breakdown due to a revelation on his part that he takes poorly or him becoming convinces that Yuiji is Defiled Forever?
  • Did K=01 spare Yuiji due to compassion for his unborn child, or pragmatic knowledge that he'd help keep the dinosauroids alive as a species?
• Too Bleak, Stopped Caring: The third installment can come across as this. Not only is Minato and Yuiji's long-sought for daughter kidnapped, there's a Hate Plague spreading that only affects dinosauroids causing a ton of chaos and fear, plus it becomes very clear why most dinosauroid females are protected so fiercely by their husbands when Minato is outnumbered and unable to save Yuiji from being gang raped in front of him. To make matters worse, after the aforementioned event the two are forced to return their daughter to human custody even after she was saved, and then Minato finds himself unable to cope with the emotions he feels and lashes out at Yuiji, kicking him out of his bed and Slut-Shaming him right before the series went on Hiatus.
• The Woobie: Yuuji, so much, particularly when he's shown practicing with the gun he's just purchased for protection while having flashbacks of being raped and the awful line about his physical exams having "spectators".
  • Jerkass Woobie: Maya to some. Sure she's insane, but the author spends a lot of time showing how her life has been one big disappointment to herself and to everyone around her. Other members of her species view her as repulsive due to the way she smells, and the one thing she's really good at is fighting. Her two goals in life are to find her brothers a mate so they can do the job she "failed" at, and to die fighting a Worth Opponent.
